-philip pov-
I hear a fast rap at my front door and Lucky lifts his head up from the floor and stares alertly at it. I quickly grab the tshirt that hung over the back of the couch and put it back on. Sauntering towards the door, I rub my tired eyes as a yawn escapes my mouth. I slowly open the door and see the familiar figure looking up at me.

holy fucking shit

"J-Jade?" I mumble. She looked so different. Her hair was cut up to her shoulders, she had lost a bunch of weight, even her eyes looked dull. "Hi.." she spoke quietly. Her voice was still the same despite everything else. "What are you doing here?" I ask, trying my best not to lose my cool. "I miss you.. I miss you so fucking much. I know i shouldn't be here but god it feels so good just to see you in person again." She said. I was kind of dumbfounded. A part of me wanted to scream and cry, another part; the part that I had gotten from my mother, wanted to invite her in and make sure she was still okay. I took a deep breath and stepped back, opening the door more. "Come in." I sighed. She walked in and stood still in the middle of my living room like a lost puppy. "So?" I ask looking at her. "I'm so sorry." she speaks, her voice cracking and her eyes glazing over. Almost in spite of myself I try to get more out of her. "For?"
"Everything." I didnt know where this would lead but I could tell that she meant it. "I don't expect you to take me back.. I just needed to tell you that. I really am sorry, and I know that I've been a bitch to you and you dont deserve to have someone like me bringing you down but-" I cut her off after tears streamed down her face like rain. "If my mom has taught me anything it's to give people you love second chances and unfortunately you're no exception." I smile widely at her. She smiles back and jumps up to hug me. "I like your hair by the way."
