CHAPTER FOUR

AUTHOR'S POV

                   THE NEXT DAY, Jungkook woke up earlier than usual. His father, Mr. Jeon Sang Joong the CEO of JEON MOTORS asked him to visit their family home before going to work. Although his father is the CEO, he has no reason to go to the company every day. He only visits when he is needed.

                   Jungkook is getting ready to visit his father when Sean knocks on is penthouse front door. He puts on his robe as he answers the door. "Sean, what's going on?" Sean walks in and closes the door behind him.

                 "Mr. Kim's car is ready. I got a call this morning from the workshop. They did a test run on it. They said the car is up and running. He can pick it up anytime."

                 "Oh, great! How about his car keys?" Jungkook walks to his kitchen as Sean follows after him. Sean has a close relationship with Jungkook ever since he had helped him. Jungkook saved him when he was at his lowest in life. 

                 Sean absentmindedly ran in front of Jungkook's car a few years ago. He took him to the hospital for treatment. Sean was admitted to the in-patient hospital care for three days. Jungkook offered him a job after the hospital discharges him. Also, Jungkook is his sponsor at the university he is attending.

                  "They still have the keys. Do you want me to drive you today?" There are times when Jungkook will give Sean days off because he wants him to have asocial life as well. He treats him like a younger brother.

                  "No, that will not be necessary. You can take the day off. I'm sure you have a girlfriend/boyfriend you need to spend time with. Besides, I have to visit my father today. I wouldn't want you waiting around when you might have something to do. If I'm not wrong, aren't you preparing for an exam?"

                  "Yes, I have an exam coming up. Thank you for everything, Mr. Jeon. You can call me if you need me." Sean shyly hides his face behind his hands.

                  "I told you to address me as Jungkook Hyung whenever we are alone. You are just like a younger brother to me, Sean."

                  "I will try to adjust Hyung." Jungkook pours himself a glass of milk as Sean exit the door. Has he is taking a sip from his milk, his phone rings. He walks to the living area and picks up the phone on the coffee table. He answers the call without looking at his caller ID. Jungkook believes it is dad.

                  "Hello, father, I will be on my way soon."

                  "Yo! Dumbass, it's me, Daniel. Did you delete my number or what?" Jungkook raises his eyebrows. Calling Daniel is one of the things on his agenda for the day. With all the crazy things happening around him lately, he needs to know what is going on. It's a little surprise that the younger called him first.

                  "Wow, you thought of me today. How sweet of you? I'm still your Hyung, you know, you disrespectful fuck tact."

                  "Whatever. I haven't heard from you in a while. Are you that busy? Or, you've got yourself a significant someone that's keeping you away from me?"Jungkook chuckles at his best friend's joke.

                 "Besides work, nobody is keeping me busy. You of all people should know about that, taking over your father's business and all."

                 "Yeah, I know."

                 "Daniel? Are you in Korea by any chance?" Jungkook is still curious. He is a smart man, but he doubts the mysterious guy he just met is either his best friend or a relative. Maybe he is just a look-alike.
