Louis and Harry walked down the street, and every now and then the other man would sneak glances at the other, but never at the same time, funnily enough.
They made it to a building, and Harry stopped, Louis following him up the steps.
They walked into the building, and Louis was kind of confused as to what was happening.
They heard yelling and banging below them as they walked up the steps, and Louis jammed his hands into his pocket.
Harry stopped, taking in a breath.
Not that Louis cared or anything.
They reached the 4th floor, and Harry slid a key into the lock.
"Damn it." He grumbled, the door was locked, and he now looked like an idiot.
He slammed it, swearing under his breath.
Louis slammed into the door alongside him, and it gave way, and the men tumbled to the floor.
Harry rolled onto his back, smiling in spite of himself.
Louis stood up, brushing his hands on his jeans.
He saw a counter in the kitchen, and passed a bathroom.
The living room was behind the kitchen, and a door led to the bedroom.
Harry ran up behind him, cleaning up messes on the floor, which he didn't usually do when people came over, but for some reason he wanted to make a good impression.
Weird.
Louis looked at him, and stared at his face as he picked up a can of beer, now empty as he chugged it down.
Harry made a face, spitting it in the sink, making Louis chuckle.
Harry pushed his hair out of his face yet again, and Louis stood there awkwardly, unsure of what to do, he didn't know why Harry had invited him, or why he had agreed.
Too late now.
"You can sit down." Harry said finally, his deep voice sending shivers down Louis's spine.
He did as Harry said, plopping down on the couch.
"I'm not quite sure where you want to sleep, I mean-"
"I'll sleep on the couch, don't worry mate."
Harry grinned, sliding onto the couch next to Louis.
Louis shifted away from him out of habit, and Harry frowned.
"So you said you had how many siblings?"
Louis looked up, smiling slightly.
"4, all sisters."
"Christ, I could barely handle one."
Louis smiled, and Harry couldn't help but smile back.
"What were they're names?"
"Why are you asking so much about them?"
"Does it bother you?"
"Well, not necessarily."
"Then keep talking."
Louis mocked offense, "hey, stop ordering me around."
"Go get me a drink peasant." Harry joked.
"Oh hell no, I'm the boss."
"In my apartment?"
"Yes."
Harry laughed as Louis sauntered into the kitchen, opening the fridge and pulling out a can of beer.
He sipped from it, walking back into the living room, his hips swaying.
Was that on purpose? Harry wondered.
Louis sat down, sipping from the can.
"So anyway my sisters names are Lottie, Fizzy, Daisy, and Phoebe."
"Okay."
"What about you?"
"What about me?"
"What's your sisters name?"
Harry shifted uncomfortably, and Louis paused.
"You don't have to answer." He said quickly.
"Um, her name was Gemma, although I don't really consider her a sister now."
Louis nodded, and Harry stood up, saying he was going to get a beer.
Maybe that would help ease the tension.--------
12 beers later, the two men were a giggling mess, Harry had somehow ended up with his head in Louis's lap, and Louis was running his hands through his hair.
"What time is it?" Louis giggled.
"1:11." Harry laughed, as if the time were hilarious.
Louis joined in laughing, and Harry sat up.
"Why are we laughing?"
"I don't know, now come lay back down."
Harry did as he said, and Louis stared at him, and suddenly neither of them were laughing.
"You want to know why I left home?"
Louis said suddenly.
"Yes, I'll tell you why I did too."
"Because my family hates me, they kicked me out."
Harry looked up at Louis, who was staring off into space, expressionless.
"Why did they kick you out?"
"Because I said I was gay."
Harry froze, and stared at Louis for a second.
"I understand if you want me to leave now, now that you know that I'm..a fag, I try not to be, I'll bring girls home but I just don't like them. I'm sorry I'll leave."
Louis stands up, and a large hand grips his wrist.
"I'm not against gays at all." Harry whispered.
"Oh."
Louis sat back down awkwardly, and Harry placed his head back into his lap, but this time if felt a bit more...intimate due to the revelations being made.
"I was kicked out too." Harry whispered.
"Because?"
"I'm gay too."
"Wow."
"Yeah."
"My sisters were upset, but I didn't know what to say I just left."
"Must be nice, my sister spit at me and refused to touch me when I was kicked out."
"Harry...."
Harry turned, burrowing his head in
Louis's jacket.
"I feel like we should kiss." The man said suddenly.
"What?"
"We're not going to remember anyways, might as well."
Harry sat up, and smashed his lips to the surprised man in front of him.
