It's been 5 days since Lia and Yoongi were placed in a chemistry project together by their teacher. Since the day he caught her in the hall he started his own secret test to add to their project if it worked. Yoongi told Lia not to worry about finding out how long it took for someone to fall in love with someone. He told her that he had it both ways, how long it takes a girl to fall in love and how long a boy takes to fall in love.

Everyday since he caught her in the hall he had been taking voice notes on how he felt whenever he was around her. If she was near he would write it down and record it later.

"Alright today I want to start on the heart monitor." Yoongi told Lia since he took the brain monitor with him home. Every night he looked at a picture he took of her in the kitchen without her knowing. He looked at a picture of his friends and then her picture. So far only the picture of the boys changed his brainwave patterns.

"On who?" Lia asked trying not to get stuck to the sticky pads.

"You." Yoongi smiled, "Place those onto your chest."

Yoongi turned so she could place the pads on correctly according to the disagram and turned when she said it was okay.

"You nervous? Your heart rate shouldn't be so high." Yoongi said noticing her heartbeat being a little over a hundred. The average resting heart rate for a woman is at least 40 bpm.

"Tests make me nervous." Lia lied.

"Just close your eyes and relax your mind." Yoongi said. Lia nodded and did as Yoongi said.

She took deep breathes and imagined the stars at night. It was her favorite thing to do when she needed something to disract her from her thoughts or to clear her head and relax.

"Okay you like someone?" Yoongi asked.

"Yeah." She answered keeping her eyes closed.

"Think of them." Yoongi told her. So Lia did. She thought of the only person she wanted to be with.

"You like them a lot." Yoongi murmured. Lia opened her eyes an saw Yoongi jotting down his findings. She tilted her head and watched him. He was like she remembered, doll like in every detail. But he could change in a minute.

His hands that could look so soft would be so hard with veins showing all the way up his arms. When he thought hard his eyebrows would be pulled together and his eyes a bit more slanted. He even bit on his lower lip or just press his lips together in a thin line.

"Yoongi-"

"Lia! Oh my god! Lia!" Namjoon screamed. Lia yanked off the pads and ran out the door with Yoongi to Namjoon who was on his knees in his garden.

"Namjoon? Joonie what happened?" Lia asked sliding next to him.

"I killed my plant." He looked up at her with puppy eyes.

"Killed your-"

"I bought a new one for you in the garden and I killed him." Namjoon sniffled.

"Aw Joonie." Lia sighed unable to be upset with her sensitive friend. He always had a bad reputation with breaking things and always wanted to proove he wasn't the god of destruction.

"It's not killed Namjoon-ah." Yoongi kneeled down. It was clear to Yoongi that whatever the reason was he was extremely upset about the plant dying, more than it being for his sister.

"But-"

"Look this plant came with a bud about to bloom. So the bigger one is snapped, doesn't mean it's completely dead." Yoongi said helping Namjoon cover the roots of the plant that he was trying to transfer from the pot. Lia watched Yoongi interact with Namjoon with a swollen heart. It was like she remembered.

"Thanks hyung." Namjoon sniffled.

"No problem. Have you ever tried taking care of bonsai?" Yoongi asked.

"No." Namjoon shook his head.

"I think it'll fit you perfectly. I have a book on bonsai I can bring tomorrow." Yoongi patted his back.

"Really?"

"Mhm." Yoongi smiled helping Namjoon up.

"Cool. Sorry for making you guys run out here." Namjoon hung his head in shame.

"Joonie it's okay." Lia patted her friends head.

"Joonie?" Yoongi asked. the name rolled off his tongue like he had said it before.

"Mhm. He likes when people older than him end his name like that." Lia nodded.

"I feel like I've heard that before." Yoongi said then shrugged.

"You guys should go back to your project." Namjoon said. Lia made sure he was okay before they went back to the main house.

"Hey why did Namjoon react like that?" Yoongi asked Lia.

"Ah Namjoon always had a thing for breaking everything. But he loves gardening and he's rather good at it. He doesn't like that he breaks everything so he wants to prove that he doesn't break everything he touches. It doesn't help that plants are living things so he thought he killed nature." Lia explained.

"Namjoon didn't have a lot of friends because of it did he?" Yoongi asked.

"He had one best friend but he went away and we haven't heard from him in a long time."

"Well hes lucky to have you as a sister. I'm sure my brother would murder me if I broke everything." Yoongi murmured.

"Sometimes I think Namjoon does it on purpose. One time we were fighting and he went through the house breaking every rubber band he could find." Lia said making Yoongi laugh.

"I would have never thought of him to be so passive aggressive." Yoongi laughed holding his stomach. Lia laughed at the memory and because Yoongi was laughing so hard.

They eventually calmed down and went back to their project before Yoongi went home. Lia cleaned up and went to the back building to see Namjoon. He was laying on his tummy on the in floor mattress with a photo album open in front of him. Lia laid next to him and smiled seeing the pictures of them and Yoongi.

"I think he's already starting to remember." Lia said.

"Really?"

"Yeah. All day he kept muttering about deja vu, even for the littlest things." Lia nodded.

At home Yoongi laid in bed ignoring the guys questions about how his day with Lia was. They were sure he liked her from the day they met. He was staring at her even if he didn't notice. After a while and cheked his brainwaves with a better picture of Lia he took that day.

"Small change." Yoongi murmured writing down his data for the day.
