Life as a Fantasy

~Chapter One~

Flash-Back

Alex is in the hospital badly wounded and aching all over, her clothes are soaking with blood and she can hear someone quietly sobbing. She turns her head and notices a handsome, white haired boy holding his head in his hands, and from the looks of it, he looks about her age. She doesn't recognize who this boy is, and all she hears is him saying "Don't leave me Alex, after all we've been through and what we accomplished, you can't leave me".

Alex is standing on her tippy toes on a ladder as she tries to hang up some decorations with her best friend, Michelle.{They are currently decorating the library because while they were shopping, they stumbled across some nice art pieces and other fancy décor, and like idiots, they wanted to buy it all...} "I regret walking into that store" said Alex. "Why?" responded Michelle. "Because we have to decorate the whole library, IT'S HUUGE!" Said Alex and not minding how loud she yelled, she lost her balance and fell of the tall ladder shutting her eyes and bracing for impact. She landed on something soft almost immediately and, to her concern, she opened her eyes. She was about 3 steps down from where she originally was and made a confused face. From across the room, a booming laugh sounded. "YOU SHOULD'VE SEEN YOUR FACE" a voice hardly containing their laughter said, it was Michelle. Alex looked around and saw that she was on a cloud, "Did you do this Michelle?" Alex said as she tried to stand up. "Of course I di-" Michelle managed to say before she fell off her own ladder. Before thinking, Alex quickly clapped her hands together and placed them on the cloud. Half of the cloud parted and, as almost as teleporting, it was under Michelle in a blink of an eye. Michelle landed on the cloud with a quiet "thud" and gasped in surprise. She stood up quickly and looked around to see she was on her own cloud. "Did YOU do this?" Michelle said, but Alex was laying on her cloud laughing to hard to notice what she said. "You should've seen YOUR face" Alex managed to say between her laughing. Michelle pouted and fell back on her cloud. After a while, the laughing ceased. "Thanks for saving me with the cloud" Alex said as she stood up. "And thank you for using my cloud that I used to save you with to save me with" responded a tired Michelle. "Ya know, you didn't have to use that many words, a simple "thank you too, o' majestic one, would've been plenty." "Alex, you are not the magestic one, I AM" Michelle's hair then began to fly behind her as she used her wind magic and began striking noble poses. Alex started bowing" You are the o'magestic one." "Damn right I am" boomed Michelle in a British accent.
"Alrighty then, lets get back to work!" A happy Alex said after praising Michelle.

That was Chapter 1! I hope you guys enjoyed it! Again, this is my first book, so no complaining! If you guys have any suggestions on how to fix this mess, tell me! (Probably no way of fixing this tho) If I won't respond, my "chat/talking" is a bit messed up and doesn't go through a lot, so ya.
