14. | birthday

i opened my eyes and groaned when my alarm clock starts ringing.

i's saturday and i forgot to turn my alarm clock off yesterday.

i took my phone and started scrolling through my feed since that is the first thing i do in the morning.

i rolled my eyes when he posted a picture of me again when he even left me yesterday.

just kidding.

and yeah it's today.

my birthday.

i went to the club with lucas on my last birthday so we might do it again.

i'll not invite bright since he's always busy.

i opened my messages and saw no message from bright.

don't be dissapointed.

but yeah i'm pissed.

i sighed heavily and clicked the text from lucas.

got saddened again.

looks like i will not celebrate my birthday this year.

then bright started calling.

so he remember me again?

[what is it?]

i said on a cold tone.

[happy birthday! let's go out today!]

[yeah after you left me hanging yesterday.]

i scoffed at him.

[are you mad about it? i'm sorry okay! i'll make it up to you.]

i sighed heavily.

[so you're free now huh?]

the cold on my voice didn't leave. i heard him sighed heavily.

[please forgive me, win. i'll make you happy today.]

[just today?]

i said angrily that made him sighed heavily again.

[wait there.]

then he ended the call.

i rolled my eyes and threw my phone at my bed.

i'll just celebrate on my own.

i went inside the shower to take a bath but in the middle of showering, the door bell starts ringing.

i scoffed.

that must be that jerk.

i went out with just my towel and went to open the door.

and there he is.

holding a bouquet of roses and chicken wings.

i rolled my eyes and let him in.

he bit his lip staring down at me after he putted all his things on the table and sat on the couch.

"what are you doing here? you're not even invited."

he sighed and pulled me infront of him so i'm now standing between his legs.

"yes i am. i wanted to celebrate it with you." he said softly that made my anger go away a bit.

"well, i wanna celebrate it by myself."

he bit the insides of his cheek, chuckling.

"what the hell are you laughing at?"

then i realized i'm still on my towel.

"attitude." he said as he started to take my towel off.

"not today, bastard." i said when my towel almost fell down and he just pouted at me.

i went inside my bedroom and started to change.

when i started to wear my boxers, a jerk suddenly came.

"go out." i said but he didn't leave his spot as he crossed both of his arms, staring down at me.

i sighed and ignored him.

i wear a plain white t-shirt from h&m with a cross gold necklace around my neck and paired it with my ripped jeans with my white gucci shoes that my mom gave me.

well, she works in america for three years now.

"where are we going?" i asked now, still in a mad face.

bright started to purse his lips, smiling.

"i rent a house with a pool, closer to a beach."

then i grinned. it's been a very long time since i went to a beach.

when he saw me smile, his mood suddenly became brighter. i can see it in his eyes.

"then let's go, jerk!" i said then he laughed.
