Song- Complicated by Olivia O'brien.
Taylor's POV.
It's been one week since the whole bunch of drama happened at my house and the good news is that I can now go to school. I don't really know what made my dad cancel my punishment but he said I should go to school, although he didn't give back all my stuff, like my phone and laptop.
First, I thought my mom was the one who talked some sense into him, but I asked her and turns out it wasn't actually her. I found it really strange that my dad would just cancel the punishment out of nowhere, there's gotta be something.
Anyways, since that day, Mason and I have not talked to each other. When we happened to run into each other at school, we would just pretend we didn't see the other or ignore each other, that's basically the same thing but anyway, I think whatever weird thing was going on between us is over now? Yeah, I'm asking myself that question. Lewis, my beloved, smart, incredibly handsome and gorgeous boyfriend has been the best this past week, I simply adore him -I'm saying all that just to try and convince myself that I actually do- so much.
Olivia came to see me too, my dad was home that day but he somehow allowed only her to see me. I told her what happened and all the drama with my asshole of a brother and my scum of a dad, and this is what she had to say about my dad cheating, "How do you know he's cheating? How did you figure it out?" She asked quietly.
"I heard him talking on the phone to what I assume was a woman, about a date they were having that day. First I thought he was just talking with my mom, but then I went upstairs to confirm wether he was talking to her or not. And guess what? Boom! Mom was in her bedroom doing whatever moms do in their bedrooms, I guess."
"Dude that's like, fucked up. But are you sure though? Cause that's not a thing to joke about you know."
I sighed, "Tell me about it. I feel like my life keeps getting worse as days pass, I mean two months ago I was with the most good looking quarterback that our school has ever had, and now I'm just in a confusing relationship with some basketball team guys." I frowned.
She gave me an awkward look as I said the last sentence, "What did you just say?"
I shrugged, not knowing what on earth she was talking about, "What?"
"A confusing relationship with some basketball team guys? So you mean you're involved with someone else from the basketball team too?" Her eyes widened as she gasped.
Oh no. What on earth? Why am I so stupid? Like my life wasn't hard enough, God had to send one more problem like take that, little whore!
I gave a nervous laugh as I fidgeted on the bed uncomfortably, "Umm what? I said that? I think there's something wrong with your ears cause I didn't say any of that, like you're totally tripping right now, holy shit I can't believe you're saying that like you actually think I would do that? You're such a bad best friend for saying that. Like seriously, calm down Olivia, that's not me. I can never-"
"Cut the crap baby girl, you tend to act nervous and ramble a lot when you're trying to hide the truth, don't think I never noticed that. Now tell me everything. I'm all ears."
That's how she knew about my little crazy story involving my boyfriend Lewis, me, and my... rival? I don't know what to call him, Mason.

Now after one week of living hell, I finally had a social life again and it felt great, man! I was at school with my friends, actually, few of my friends, cause a bunch of people at this school just tend to hate me for no reason.
We were in AP calculus class when our grumpy principal showed up with a boy and a girl next to him, they were probably new and he wanted to introduce them. The usual.
