<<Hiya!! I'm Defelala, Defe for short :D

I love dream team and the trio so much, and mermaids/sirens have always intrigued me. Therefore I decided to create this AU!

Also, there's going to be a lot of characters in this fanfiction that you'll most likely recognize :) From twt stans to Callahan, I'm going to try and fit in as many people as I can whilst following the plot and having a good reason for each appearance. Why am I doing this? Because I know how cool it is to see yourself in a story, and I want to make sure that others can experience that feeling too.

I'm most likely going to actually start writing this after I finish my other fanfiction 'Text Back', but here's a little sneak peek of what I have in store for you guys this time ;)

Also, if any of dream team is reading this: hello! I love you! I'm sorry not sorry for doing this to you Dream :) I hope you enjoy, I've had this idea in the back of my head for a while now lol. If ya want me to I'll take this down, don't wanna make you guys uncomfy or anything💖

Edit: The focus of this book isn't DNF, though its implied/written in so I changed the title and description. Also, Cricut#2244 on my discord server made a cover for this book!!! I love it so so so muchhhh💖

As always, song is inspo!

Enjoy!!💖>>

Warning: Drowning, Boat Crash

Clay loved the beach.

Salt sticking to his skin, sand crunching under his bare feet, cold waves splashing against his chest- it just brought him a sense of calm that he couldn't get from anywhere or anyone else.

So when his friend asked him to go on a late night boat ride, how could he refuse?

He had been having an amazing time. Dipping his hand into the water rushing at the side of the boat, Clay looked up at the stars.

Clear nights like this were always the perfect time for a late night swim. Grab some girls, some friends, and a speaker and you had yourself a great time.

It was only when he saw the other boat speeding straight towards them that he wished he had never gone to the beach in the first place.

"CLAY!"

He heard someone scream his name right before the crash.

Clay was thrown out of the boat and for a second he felt surrounded by the stars he had just been admiring. Only this time they weren't beautiful; they terrified Clay.

He barely had time to scream before he hit the water, the impact knocking the little breath he had out of his lungs.

Clay gasped, but instead of life giving air flowing down his throat he choked on the sea he had always loved.

With burning lungs and an aching head Clay tried his best to swim to the surface. It felt like he was never going to arrive though, the fiery glowing light seeming to shrink rather than grow.

Clay felt his arms giving out.

This was it.

Clay closed his eyes, barely feeling the freezing water through his adrenaline.

He was going to die.

Clay's body screamed for air, every atom in him burning without fresh oxygen.

It wasn't fair.

Clay opened his mouth to let the ocean he had adored for so long swallow him whole.

It just wasn't fair.

Clay felt something grab his leg and weakly opened his eyes. It was hard to see in the murky, dark water, but he tried his best.

What?

Clay could barely make out the face of a young man that appeared to be about the same age as himself, peering up at him from the deep below. Clay felt the hand on his leg retract, and suddenly two hands were wrapped around his throat.

Clay gasped, feeling the water inside of him turn to something lighter.

He could breathe.

But it was already too late.

Clay let the ocean asphyxiate him.

<<hope you liked it, I promise this is gonna most likely be the saddest chapter in this fanfiction!!!💖💖💖ilya, have wonderful days/nights!!>>
