"D-daughter?!" I stare wide eyed at the Queen and then did the most unlady-like thing I could do in front of the royal family. I ran. I ran through the door down the palace halls not even glancing at where I was going. I could vaguely hear Ian calling me in the backgound, but I didn't care. After about twenty minutes of running I could tell people were still coming after me. I had to think fast before they catch me, I just want to be alone! I spot an open door and run into it and quickly close and lock the door. I quietly crouch by the door and wait for the footsteps to pass. "I can't find her." I hear a heavy sigh. "Just keep looking, we need to find her." I hear footsteps continuing down the hall. When I thought I was safe I took deep breathes to calm my nerves. The people who raised me are not my parents. My mom and dad are actually royalty. That would make me royalty. I am so screwd.

"Becka?" I jump when I hear the soft voice from the other side of the door. Ian. My hand touches the doorknob, but then stops. I don't want him to be here, yet part of me does. "Becka, please I know you're in there. It's a lot to take in, but please come out. I can help you." Ya right. You've been ignoring me ever since we got here, if I came out what would be different. I step away from the door and slowly walk backwards. I hit a chair and that causes it to screech against the ground. "Becka?" Ian ask, genuine concern in his voice. The doorknob jiggles and I start to panick. Suddenly I see a flash of blue from the corner of my eye. I turn around and see a blue butterfly sitting on the fire mantle. "Hey little guy." I whisper. I start to take slow steps to it. When I'm close enough I reach my finger out to touch it when it lands on my hand. I stare at it in awe. Its majestic wings covered in black swirls, filled in with a bright blue that sparkles even without the sun. I try to pull my hand to my face to study it but it flies off my hand and back onto the mantle. I tilt my head in confusion. Why would it go back to the mantle? Why does it keep showing up? I step closer to where My nose is almost touching the mantle. I ignore Ians constant pleas for me to come out and bring my hand out and touch the mantle piece clock that was in the center, and everything went black.

I woke up to feel something fluttering on my face. I slowly opened my green eyes and noticed I was in a forest and it was night. I was in a clearing and I could see the stars shining as bright as they can. I slowly sat up and saw the same butterfly fluttering around me. I'm starting to think that it is trying to tell me something. I look at my surroundings and my mouth falls open. The grass around me is about two inches tall, silky smooth, and green as can be. The trees tower over me swaying in the wind, like a lullaby. Flowers were dotted everywhere on the ground. Some glowing and sparkling while others were just ordinary looking flowers. When I stand up I notice I'm not in my normal clothes. I look down and gasp. I have a blue dress like outfit on. Its top is sleeveless and curves around my breast, making sure to cover them, and  a strap goes around my neck, holding it in place. My skirt is designed like a flower, it may actually be a flower. It has the same black swirled lines as my wings, which are now out and glowing their beautiful blue in the dark. My dress matches my wings while my sheos are slip-ons while their straps circle my legs like vines. My hair was down in its strawberry brown curls with a little silver chain circling my head.

The butterfly flies in front of my face causing me to back away slightly. After its sure it has my attention it flies deeper into Lullaby Forest, that's what I decided to call it. I followed the butterfly as it led me deeper into the forest. "Ya know, I'm going to need to make you a name so I can stop calling you 'The butterfly.'" The butterfly only flutters by my face in acknowledgment. Hmmmmmm, what do you name a butterfly? Flutter? Shimmer? "So, what about...... Shimmer?" The butterfly tugged my hair. "Ow, ok ok, not Shimmer." We continued walking around while I continued to test names on the butterfly. "What about Glimmer?" Not a single reaction. "What? I got the name from a book." I said defensively. Suddenly I began to hear a waterfall. It sounded lovely and only added to the lullaby theme with its soothing currents.

We came to a stop at a large opening with a beautiful waterfall that cascaded into a pool at the bottom. The water was clear and there were rocks surrounding it, some covered with moss while others were wet with the water that was cascading down. I was to bussy gaping at it to realize the butterfly was pulling my hair. "Oh, sorry. I'm coming." I said. I stopped at the pool and took a look at myself. I hadn't exactly seen myself. My eyes were still green as ever, but I seemed...... prettier. My hair looks shinier and the silver chain really brings out its color. My wings glow bright in the moonlight and my outfit looks beautiful. I look beatuful for once. The butterfly comes and flies around something in the water. I look up and see she is flying around a reflection of the moon. "Oh, um. This is a clue, right? Um, ok I got this." I thought about anything related to the moon. Normally I would guess something logical because people at school would scold me but considering what I've been through I think logic is rolled out. "Oh! This has something to do with myths right?!" Butterfly flapped around excitedly. "The only myth I know about the moon in is Greek mythology. What about Selene?" Butterfly fluttered around me excitedly, or more like Selene. "Alright, Selene it is!" I look around again. There are a few willow trees around blowing in the wind, with light coming out of them? One tickles my skin and I realize its a bug. "Fireflies!" I breathe out amazed. This place is amazing. I dance around a little and laugh, shockingly the fireflies dance along. Moving in sync with each other, forming lines so they can dance around me in cicles.

Eventually, Selene brings me back to the meadow. "Selene, Why do I have to go back." She pulls on my hair as if saying 'are you serious?' "I know its the right thing to do but its so stressful. My parents who aren't even my real parents lied to me and kept a big part of my life from me and Ian doesn't like talking to me and I don't know anyone there." Selene lays me down in the grass. I finally give in and close my eyes.
