Hey it's Dinah um Lauren's wedding is coming up and she wanted me to invite you. I hope you come, it could be like a reunion for all of us. Just, if you can come then come. Um yeah I have to go Normani's calling me so um bye. We're hoping to see you there... BEEP

"It's so hot in here get the ac running" Dinah complained. We all laughed at her. "Hey y/n need some help?" Ally asked. "Um yeah thank you" I said and let her help me with my tie. "So how are you doing under the circumstances?" She asked glancing up at me since I'm taller than her.

"I guess I'm doing okay I mean I'm a little nervous but other than that I'm fine" I said with a laugh. Okay that was a lie I'm not fine. I mean how would you feel going to the person you still loves wedding.
"That's good to hear, okay and done you know I should give you some lessons on how to tie a tie" Ally said proud of her work.

"Well I might just take you up on that offer" I told her with a small smile. "Okay everyone ready cause I am ready to go get fucked up tonight baby!" Dinah yelled in which ally hit her in the arm. "Sorry smalz" She said looking down.

"Oh shit she's right let's go the limo is outside" Norman said grabbing her purse and grabbing Dinah hand and walking out the room. "Let's go" Ally said then we walked out together.

Skip drive

"Woohoo we are finally here" Dinah said opening the door and holding it for Normani. "Yeah I must admit that ride was a little too long" Ally said. I walked to the entrance and was greeted by Lauren's parents.

"Oh y/n I didn't know if you would show up or not" Mike said coming up to me. "Yeah I didn't either but here I am" l said with a awkward laugh and shook his hand. "Hi mija how are you?" Clara said starting off a basic conversation. "Oh I'm fine how are you?" I asked them back. "Oh we're doing great, Chris and Taylor are inside I think if you wanted to see them" She told me pointing inside. "Sure I go see them" I told them bye then walked inside and looked for Taylor and Chris.

I spotted Chris but couldn't find Taylor. "Shit y/n is that you?" Chris asked bringing me into a bro hug. "Yep it's me where's Taylor at?" I asked him. "She's helping Lauren with a girl problem right now" He said with a chuckle. "Do you know where I'm supposed to sit? I didn't really ask the girls" I asked with a small laugh. "Oh yeah just over there" He pointed to where the girls were at. "Thank you I'm gonna head over there now but it was nice too see you" I told him. "Yeah okay it was nice seeing you too" He said then bid me goodbyes and walked off to who knows where

I got into my spot next to the girls just in time because the bride was about to walk down the aisle.

There she was. Dressed up with a smile on her face arms locked with her dads. She stared walking down the aisle and I couldn't take my eyes off of her. She took a glance at me and smiled which I of course, smiled back. He handed her to Camila and walked back to his seat. She smiled at her and grabbed her hand to help her up a little. She smiled at her and they help hands as the priest started talking, and that whole time he was taking all I could think about is that could've been me with her up there.

After they said I do and everyone was clapping for them they stared to all go towards the tables outside and sit down. Lauren and Camila sat at the wedding table and everybody started walking up to them to congratulate them.

I went to sit with Harry, Louis, Troy, Dinah, Normani, Ally, Lucy, and Vero. Dinah and Lucy was already drunk of course and Normani Vero we're chatting away, and Harry Louis Troy and Ally were talking about something but I want listening. I got up to got get a plate of food.

When I sat back down I started talking to Lucy and she was saying we should do cheers to the new weds so we did. "Cheers!" Our table said I was on my first drink surprisingly. "We're next babe me and you just wait!" Lucy said to Vero. "No me and Normani are next watch we're gonna a get married before you" Dinah challenged her while sticking her tongue out. "Oh yeah are you so sure of that?" Lucy challenged back and that's when the argument started. But I was to busy taking quick glances at the new brides.

I saw them talking near the drinks so I went over there. I walked up to them and got a drink. "Y/n you came!" Lauren said and hugged me. "Yeah I got Dinah's call and decided what do I have to lose" I laughed. "Hi y/n it's been a while since I saw you" Camila told me and gave me a quick awkward hug.
"Yeah I just wanted to congratulate you guys and the marriage" I said rubbing my neck getting lost in Lauren's eyes. "Oh well thank you" Camila said. Before Lauren could talk her grandma called her and Camila over to the dance floor which I took as my cue to leave.

I took my drink to the dance floor and just tried to enjoy myself.

You could find another me tomorrow, and that's the hardest pill to swallow.

They started to cut and eat the cake together but I just danced with some girl I saw for a little bit but it just didn't feel right.

If I woke up and I called it quits, if today I gave up all of this, maybe I could get you back tomorrow, and that's the hardest pill to swallow.

They were slow dancing together on the dance floor. Wide smiles and saying cute words together while laughing. I'm happy that's she's happy but I wish I was the one making her laugh.

Everyone around me was having a good time celebrating and I just couldn't enjoy none of it with her on my mind. I felt like I was about to throw up from the alcohol so I went outside to get some fresh air.

"Have a nice night!" Some of Lauren's relatives told neon the sway out. I waved at them and proceed out side.

While I was walking out I looked to the side and saw Lauren the girls laughing. "Bye Lauren, bye guys" I told them with a wave and walked down the pavement. "Give me a second guys, Wait y/n hey!" Lauren called after me. I turned around and stopped to see what she wanted.

"Yes?" I asked her. "Thank you for coming, really I didn't think you would come I actually wanted to see you. I missed you ya know" She trailed off. "Oh yeah I missed you too" I told her looking in her eyes.
"Yeah I wish we could have our friendship back you know? No weird stuff but I think that's gonna take time" she said with a laugh. "Oh, um yeah our friend uh ship I missed it too" I told her looking down because her words hurt me. "Yeah well I'm gonna go but it was great seeing you, really" I said giving her a hug that I knew would probably be the last one in a while. "You too, well I guess I see you another time" she said said walking backwards.
I stared waking away. "Maybe who knows?" I said with a shrug.

"Bye y/n"

"Goodbye Lauren" I said and walked off.
