CASE 400#

AUGUST 5th, 1981

 This is agent Charles reporting. After a lot of mysterious and unexplained murders that happened along the west cost of the U.S, the P.A.A had finally agreed to take part in the investigation.

The victims were deformed, decapitated, and twisted in impossible ways. All without the use of any known weapon, but with bare hands. there is nothing linking the victims together, that is except for two things. 

Firstly, almost all the victims went out with their friends on the night of their demise. These friends would later remark on how the victim would claim to hear whistling even though the rest of the group cannot.

Secondly, all the victims have experienced an event that made them suffer from depression. and they have been heard threatening to take the easy way out. In addition to that, i message was found near all the victims' bodies. It reads, "people recognise the value of something only when they lose it" We suspect that it is talking about life.  

As for now, fourteen young students were victims of this killer. I went to investigate the case in the affected city. Turns out, there is a local legend of an entity that loves to kill. The victim's fate is sealed when he hears the whistling. The whistling would start seemingly very close and then would start to move away, this would cause the victim to feel safer. While in fact, the further away the whistling seems, the closer this entity is.

This legend is eerily similar to the case in hand. When we bought the distance that the whistling was coming from up to the friends of the victims, they said that their friend would remark on how the sound would start to "move away"

At first, it looks like a skilled serial killer decided to use his skills to his advantage and play tricks on the victims before waiting until they are alone then striking, just to copy the legend. But after more investigating, this theory turned out to be so naive.

We finally captured the murder of victim number 15 on video, but I cannot say we captured the murder. The victims were attacked by an unseen power that ripped them apart. So the legend might be true after all. But there remains some crucial questions. what exactly is this  creature? Why is it doing such things? Why did the legend decide to come true all of a sudden? And most importantly, how do we stop it? 

In conclusion, it seems like the idea of stopping this entity is far fetched. This case is to be handled by a larger, much more experienced team. And it must never be released to the public.
