2:17 AM i sighed looking at my phone, you may be wondering, why am I out so late? Well the truth is whenever I feel stressed I like to leave my house and take a walk at night, I just had a fight with my best friend hongjoong so I decided to take a walk outside for a bit.

I wore my headphones playing (Congratulations by day6) I hummed along to the song and noticed that it started raining, I started walking back home not wanting to get wet, that's when I jumped startled at the sound of thunder, before hearing a scared whimper, I looked around and saw a small figure with their knees close to their chest and their head was buried in their knees, i walked to that person and as i got closer i saw a boy that looked about my age and that's when I noticed, he has... Cat ears? and a tail...

Is that a hybrid?

I got closer to the boy as he noticed me trying to hide his body even more, i crouched down infront of him, he looked me in the eyes and when I saw his teary, bloodshot eyes, i tried to hug him but he flinched "d-don't hurt me!" he shouted with his eyes closed, "it's okay, I won't hurt you, trust me" I said in a soothing voice before hugging him smiling softly, "are you okay?" I asked before noticing his bleeding neck, i gasped in shock looking at the deep cut, "do you have an owner?" i asked, however he didn't respond he just started shaking in fear, "I'll take you to my house is that okay with you?" I asked looking at him with softened eyes as I carrased his palms, that was a thing I learned from my mom, she used to carress my palms whenever I wasn't feeling well, he calmed down slightly before nodding in response,
" okay you have to trust me..I'll pick you up alright? I'm going to take you to my house and then you can explain everything" I said before putting one of my arms under his knees and the other behind his neck and picked him up.

I walked quickly to my house which wasn't that far, i looked down at the boy and he was sleeping, i cooed at the cute hybrid who was sleeping in my arms.

I arrived home and layer the sleeping boy down on my couch sitting on the floor infront of him, i shook his shoulder lightly, he slowly woke up and sat up, "can I see your neck for a second?" I asked the week hybrid who looked at me with sad, fearful eyes, he hesitantly nodded before tilting his head to the side, my heart broke as I looked at the deep, bleeding cut on his neck, "stay here im gonna be right back" i ran to my cupboard getting the first aid kit and went back to him, i sat beside the bewildered boy and sighed, "I'm going to treat your cut okay?" I said getting the alcohol pads, "it might hurt a bit" I said softly before I started treating his cut.

He hissed in pain and flinched, "sorry" I mumbled and continued cleaning his cut as he pouted, 'dammit that's cute..' I thought smiling, "don't worry I'll make it quick" he nodded, i was done cleaning his cut and i put a big bandage on it, "there, all done" I smiled softly, that's when his stomach rumbled loudly, he shyly looked down, "im gonna make some food okay, do you want to watch anything?" I asked turning on my TV, "I don't know anything, I've never really watched anything, I wasn't allowed to" he shrugged making me even curious about his owner and what he used to do to him, "okay im gonna play Finding Nemo" I said before I played it and went to my kitchen.

I started cooking something for us as I sang, after while I heard some sniffles, I frowned going to the living room, "hey, you okay?" I asked sitting beside him, "y-yeah.. Its just that they took Nemo from his dad" he pouted, i cooed at his cuteness "he's going to be okay, you'll see at the end" I smiled, he nodded wiping his tears with his sweater paws, i chuckled going back to the kitchen, after I was done making door I went to the couch and smiled seeing the boy concentrated on the movie.

"dinners ready" I said as he looked at the food hungrily, i chuckled putting the bowls of ramen on the table, "thankyouuuu" he said before he started devouring his food like he hadn't eaten in days, "oh yeah what's your name?" i asked smiling, he looked at me with his mouth full of ramen, "o-oh sorry" he said wiping his mouth, "my name is Jung wooyoung and in 20 years old" he answered grinning, "cute name, I'm San and I'm 20 too" he blushed at my compliment mumbling a small "thankyou" I smiled softly.

"tell me something about you" I asked him as he hesitated before he started talking, "well as you know I'm a hybrid and let's just say hybrids are used as slaves or maids, and we have owners, the night you found me I was running away from my abusive owner, ever since my parents died from starvation my owner found me and told me that he's going to take care of me, but as soon as he took me to his house he threw me in his basement and starved me for days, he also used to abuse me and... Uhhh.. Do s-stuff to me... "he mumbled the last part playing with his sleeve while looking at his lap, i gasped in shock at what he just told me, he looked at me with teary eyes and a red nose, i felt my heart break into a million peices at the sight of the broken boy infront of me, "come here" I said opening my arms for him as he sat on my lap and hugged me clutching onto my hoodie and burying his face in my chest as he sobbed letting his emotions out, i drew circles on his back with one of my hands as the other was playing with his soft hair, he slowly started calming down, "thankyou..." he mumbled after some minutes, i smiled softly hugging him tightly "for what?" i asked playing with his cat ears, "thankyou for saving me from him, and listening to me and comforting me..." he said looking at me with tears streaming down his face, my eyes softened and I wiped his tears with my thumbs.

I just smiled and hugged him even tighter (if possible), "I promise that I'll take care of you and I won't treat you like he did, you can trust me" he nodded pouting cutely.

"now, how about you take a shower and I'll get you some clothes?" he nodded getting up, i went to my room as wooyoung followed me, "you can sleep in the guests room" i smiled as he went to the guests room and got into the bathroom.

I got some pyjamas and a towel and put them infront of the bathroom door, before going to my room sitting on my bed scrolling through my phone, after some time I heard a knock on my door, "come in" I said as wooyoung came in wearing my pyjamas that were Kind big on him, he looked so adorable I wanted to cuddle the hell out of-wait what am I thinking...

I patted my bed as he came and sat down beside me "so ummm... Am I gonna live here now?" he said looking at me with hopeful eyes "yes, it could be hard because of rent and the bills and stuff, but i could work some more, and having you would be really nice since I live alone and it gets lonely sometimes so I'd be really happy to have someone live with me"i said smiling, he looked at me with a wide grin, "r-really?! So I'd have someone to talk to? yayyyy!!! I have a friend!!!" he said cheerfully jumping on my bed making me chuckle.

"wait, so you go to work? Where do you work?" he asked sitting back down on the bed, "oh I work at a café" I answered "hmmm.. How about I work with you there so I can help with paying the bills since I'm living here?" he said as I started thinking, "that's actually a pretty good idea, okay im gonna go to work tomorrow and I'll talk to my manager about this alright?" I said as he nodded smiling, "okay you should probably go to sleep now, it's really late" I said as he went to the guests room which is now his.
