"Up and at em, your majesty." (Y/n) said she she walked into the Queen's quarters. In her arms was a tray of assorted fruits with some orange juice. She walked towards the bed where Elsa laid spread out, covers tangled everywhere. (Y/n) giggled a bit and placed the tray on the bedside table."Your grace..." (Y/n) whispered, leaning closer towards the queen. After a couple years of serving her, she knew that if she was awoken quickly I'd be a bad day. So (Y/n) gently pushed stray white hairs out of Elsa's face and rubbed her shoulder. "Time to get up..." (Y/n) smiled when the Queen stirred a bit.
"Five more minutes." Elsa grumbled and turned around in the bed. (Y/n) looked at the breakfast and back at Elsa.
"Your majesty, your breakfast will go bad. I even got watermelon from the market-" (Y/n) said the word 'watermelon' and that was all Elsa needed to get up. She whipped her head around to look at the tray of many fruits, including watermelon.
Elsa smiled and grasped the tray as she sat on the edge of the bed. She looked up at (Y/n) and offered a piece. (Y/n) shook her head.
"Thank you graciously, your majesty, but I'm afraid I've already eaten this morning." (Y/n)'s hands were behind her back, folded. Elsa laughed.
"How on earth do you wake up so early, (Y/n)? It's only 6:00 in the morning and you've gotten ready, been to the market, made yourself breakfast and mine. Then you wake me up." Elsa said. (Y/n) shrugged her shoulders.
"It's all part of the job, your grace. And it makes it even better when I work for you of all people." (Y/n) cringed internally at what she just said. But despite the embarrassment she felt, the Queen smiled softly.
"I wouldn't want anyone else to wake me in the morning, (Y/n)." Elsa said before plopping a slice of watermelon into her mouth. (Y/n) flushed red and bit her lip. Oh what a fool she was. In love with her boss, the Queen no less.
(Y/n) stayed with Elsa as she ate her breakfast so she could clean up when she was finished. Elsa gracefully wiped her mouth off with a napkin and sat the now empty tray on the bed side table. As Elsa stood up, (Y/n) bowed and stepped to grab the tray. But she was stopped by a hand grasping onto her forearm.
Then a pair was arms were wrapped around her, hugging her. (Y/n) was bright red, not knowing what to do. The Queen was hugging her.
"Thank you, (Y/n). I appreciate everything you do." Elsa said, almost in a whisper. (Y/n) just stood there wide eyed, before she finally wrapped her arms around Elsa back, very softly and gently, as if she was made of glass. (Y/n) finally took into account the height difference of the two. Elsa's chin aligned with (Y/n)'s forehead. And as of right now, Elsa's chin was resting lightly atop of (Y/n)'s head.
Elsa finally pulled away and smiled down at (Y/n). Her hands still rested on the servant's shoulders, which were stiff. "I never realized how short you were." Elsa laughed, "It's adorable-!" Elsa proved her point by raising her hand to the top of (Y/n)'s head, demonstrating the difference of size. (Y/n) giggled and looked at her feet so the Queen wouldn't see her blush.
"Me neither, your majesty." (Y/n) said lightheartedly. Elsa sighed.
"(Y/n) please, just call me Elsa. You've been here for a little over a year." Elsa folded her hands in front of her. (Y/n) opened her mouth to protest but Elsa beat her to it. "That's an order." Elsa said. (Y/n) immediately shut her mouth and looked up into the Queen's icy blue irises.
"Of course your gr- Elsa." (Y/n) said. Elsa felt her heart flutter when she heard (Y/n) say her name. It was so wrong to love a servant. But at the same time, it felt so right.
