You're Home (Elsa x Amputee! Reader)

"I don't know what to do, what do you suggest?" Elsa said. (Y/n) stood behind her, poised and with a serious expression plastered onto her face.

"Your majesty, this kingdom has many resources. If we send reinforcements, they will return the favor." One man spook. Elsa was in her first council meeting. She wasn't even crowned Queen yet but she still had duties to attend to.

Her personal guard, (Y/n), joined her of course. She went everywhere Elsa did.

"How many do you suggest we send?" Elsa asked. Other man spoke up.

"A hundred of our finest men should help them win this minor war." He said. Elsa nodded slowly, but (Y/n) was sweating bullets.

'Please disagree, please don't sign it..." (Y/n) thought. Elsa looked at the paper the man set in front of her.

"O-Okay..." Elsa grasped their quill in her hand and neatly signed at the line. It took everything in (Y/n)'s power to not rip the quill from her hands.

'No, no no no no...' (Y/n) couldn't believe this was happening. But it wasn't Elsa's fault, she didn't know any better.

"Meeting is dismissed." The first man said. Elsa stood up gracefully and shot (Y/n) a smile smile, but (Y/n) didn't return it. She escorted Elsa to her room.

"This is so hard, (Y/n), I miss them..." Elsa said. (Y/n) felt guilty. Her whole life had been dedicated to the Crown Princess, and her parents entrusted her with everything. Now, she was going to be gone.

Elsa wrapped her arms around (Y/n)'s waist and hugged her close. Oh yes, the two were hopelessly in love as well.

"I miss them too..." (Y/n) said as she embraced Elsa back. "E-Elsa I need to tell you something..." (Y/n)'s voice shook.

"Of course, you can tell me anything." Elsa looked into her lover's eyes, they were full of acceptance and love.

"I-I won't be here tomorrow." (Y/n) voice cracked, tears were forming in her eyes.

"What do you mean?" Elsa gently grasped onto (Y/n)' face.

"I-I mean I have to go. With the hundred." (Y/n) said quietly. Elsa's eyes went wide.

"N-No you don't. No! You're MY personal guard! They can't take you from me!" Elsa yelled. Tears were threatening to pour from her eyes. (Y/n) shook her head.

"The paper is documented. We are to leave tomorrow at dawn." (Y/n) said. She sounded broken. Elsa let out a sob and held (Y/n) as close as possible.

"No you aren't! I'll tell them! They can t-take someone else!" Elsa's body shook with fear, feat of loosing the only person she's had for the past ten years.

"Shh, it's going to okay." (Y/n) stroked Elsa's hair, trying to calm her down.

"No! It's not okay! I've already lost mom and dad! I'm not loosing you either!" Elsa cried out. (Y/n) clinched her eyes shut, trying to stop the tears. She had to be strong, for Elsa.

"Hey, look at me, Snowflake." (Y/n) pulled Elsa away from her so she could look in her eyes. "I'll be back before you know it okay? They're predicting about 3 months and we'll be back home." (Y/n) have her lover a watery smile.

"But what if you don't?" Elsa mumbled. (Y/n) eyes went wide.

"Elsa!" (Y/n) dramatically put a hand on her heart, "You think some common soldiers can hurt me?! I'm offended!" (Y/n) said jokingly, trying to lighten the mood. Then she felt joy burst through her, Elsa smiled.

"I'm still gonna miss you..." Elsa pulled (Y/n) to her bed and cuddled against her. The two fell asleep side by side that night, but when Elsa woke up, (Y/n) was gone.
