Good Mistake?

Chapter 24 ~ Tree!

Sorry I have not updated in a while I had Exams... Blah..... But i have aall Christmas break!!! 

Me and Harry Got in the car and drove until we found a little Christmas tree stand. We parked on the side of the road and got out to walk up to a little trailer that was surrounded by trees. Right when you walk up there is a white board that had " 7 days until Christmas" wrote on it. Me and Harry ran down the rows of trees looking for the perfect one. There had to be at lest 10 rows and we started at opposite ends. We ran and we both ended up at the end at the same tree. It was giant and had a massive red bow wrapped around it.

"This one!" me and Harry said in unison pointing at it. We both laughed.

Harry picked up the tree and walked over to the little picnic table where you pay. An old Lady walked out of the trailer with a little cash box. She at us and smiled.

" Oh is this your first Christmas after the marriage?" she asked

Me and Harry looked at each other. Then at her. 

"um were not married" said Harry

"OH! I'm sorry! but by the looks of how happy you are together you should be" she said

Harry smiled at me and i blushed. The lady giggled then asked "is that the tree you want?" 

" yes" I said

Harry handed her a 20 and asked did  she have change " hang on" she said Then she called her husband out for change. He was as old as her and they were so cute together. He handed her the change and smiled at us 

" Happy couple? " he asked

" No, no, they are not married" the old woman said

" that doesn't mean they are not happy. So are ya?" he asked again

" yes very" i said

Harry agreed with me. the old couple smiled and waved goodbye as Harry picked up the tree and tied it to the top of  his car. I stayed with them while he did. 

" Young lady you are very lucky to have such a handsome young man like him" said the lady 

" i know i am.." i said

" you're going to marry him." said the man

I looked a him and said " i hope" 

" don't worry your pretty little head you Will." said the women

I smiled and waved goodbye and got in the car with Harry. We sat in silence for 5 minutes then He talked.

" I wonder why that lady and man thought we were married..."

" i mean we only have been together for 2 and a half weeks" i said

we pulled up into the drive way and Harry got the tree of the car and walked it up to the house. I opened the door and harry walked forward but stopped. op of the tree in t

" what is it?" i asked

" um... this tree is too tall to fit in the door." he said

" just put it long ways" i said

so he backed up and put the top of the tree in the door way first then walked in, but stopped again.

" its stuck." he said

"oh god harry." i said

" come with me around to the back and help me pull." i said

" i cant" he said

" well why not?" i asked

" my hand i stuck also" he said

i shook my head and ran around back to get in to the house. I got to the front door through the house. i pulled as hard as i could on the tree but it didn't move. I tried again while harry pulled his hand. His hand came out but the tree didn't move. Harry came inside to help pull and the tree screeched through the door. 

" finally!" he said

i laughed and we pulled the tree across the room to the corner of the living room. Harry stood it up right and it was so tall it hit the ceiling and banded over a couple inches. We fell on the couch exhausted. Harry looked over at the door and the frame was scratched to hell.

" i paint over that tomorrow." he said

" you have done enough"  I smiled  and kissed him

" thank you" i said and cuddled up next to him
