Good Mistake?

Chapter 1 ~ BANG

Chapter 1

I woke up in a cold sweat. I had the worst dream I was walking through the woods and a dark figure was following me I tried to run but I couldn't and i was getting closer and closer.... But, It was just a dream nothing else... I glance over to my table and see that it is 2:00 a.m.  i look over at my window, My light pink curtains were fluttering in the wind. I shivered and wrapped my blanket around my body dreading to get out of bed and shut the window I got up and put one foot on the cold tile of my bed room. I shivered and put my other foot down. I stood up and dragged over to the window I stood and looked out and saw the leaves in the street blow like mad as the wind hit my face. It was the end of fall and winter was just around the corner and I was looking forward to it. I love the snow and sitting on the couch watching movies, drinking hot cocoa, and curling up with the one I love... If i had someone at the moment. My boy friend and  I broke up a month ago after a long relationship. It made me mad to think about what he did... My thoughts were then stopped when i heard a BANG in the kitchen. It made me jump. I shut my window quickly and sat in bed I waited for another bang but nothing came... I guess it was the cat or something but, I wasn't gonna worry about it. I was drifting off to sleep when i heard another louder BANG but it sounded like it was closer to my room this time. I lifted my pillow and pulled a giant metal spoon out and held it tight. I kept it there just in case but i never thought I would need to use it.  BANG the sound echoed through the hall and sounded the closest it has been so far... I stood up and slowly walked over to my bedroom door. I opened it slowly and looked out it was pitch black. I heard a foot step them someone say in a quiet voice

" Do you think anyone is home?"

I heard an answer to the persons question

" I don't know.. If they are I hope they don't wake up"

Then i head a totally different void from the other two that said

" Shhh be quiet "

Then yet another voice that said

" I hope they have a phone that we could use"

A different person answered

" Well who ever they are they are not gonna let us use it we came in their house.."

So there were 5 diffrent people in my house and they were all men...but they said they wanted to use my phone. I mean it sounds like they dont want to break in and they just want to use a phone but, I could be all just an act. All of a sudden I heard a loud crash and someone yell 

"Shit!"

At that moment I slowly tip toed out of my room and went up behind one of the intruders and hit their head as hard as I could with the spoon and I heard them fall I went up behind another and did the same the 2 more and I went up to the last one and heard a scream then he fell. I didnt even hit them like the fuck. But you know. I ran up to the light switch and saw 5 men passed out on the floor.... Holy shit... what did I do!
