Half (Chapter 2)

- Dawn's P.o.V. -

After 20 minutes of running, I managed to make a rest point at an old park. I walked towards the water fountain and sat near a bush near the fountain. Before my parents got killed, I remembered that my mother told me that I had a beautiful singing voice. I got a little bored so I decided to start singing.

As soon as I stopped singing, I heard footsteps of two people so I hid in the bush. I peeked through the bush and I saw two vampires.

- Lacus' P.o.V. -

Me and René were walking through the park when we heard the singing. "René, did you hear that? It sounded like a little livestock singing," I said.

- René's P.o.V. -

"I heard it, but I don't see who sang it," I replied.

- Lacus' P.o.V. -

"I gotta say, it's a pretty voice," I said.

- Dawn's P.o.V. -

"They liked my singing?" I thought. I never heard anyone, except my mother, say that I had a beautiful singing voice. I wanted to ask them if they really liked my singing, but if I came out right now, they might see and kill me. I may as well hide until they leave.

- René's P.o.V. -

"Let's go," I said as me and Lacus started leaving.

- Dawn's P.o.V. -

I heard them leave. To make sure that they actually left, I decided to take a peek and I saw that they were gone. I'm safe for right now. I manage to leave the bush and run off somewhere else.
