Half (Chapter 3)

- Dawn's P.o.V. -

I started walking through a forest when it started raining. A few seconds later, I hear something. It sounded like a baby kitten meowing. I walked towards where the sound came from and it was a box with a baby white kitten. Luckily it was under shelter. I felt bad for the kitten so I decided to take care of it. "Oh, you poor thing.. I'll help you feel better. Maybe a song, perhaps?," I said as a picked up the box, sat down, and started singing.

- Ferid's P.o.V. -

I was exploring the area with some comerades until I hear someone singing. "Hm? Who could be singing?" I asked myself as decided to look for where the singing was coming from. I look around a corner and I see a 10-year-old girl. "Hm, what do we have here? A cute little livestock singing to an animal? How interesting.." I said.

- Dawn's P.o.V. -

I stopped singing and then I stand up whilst holding the box containing the baby kitten. "You look like a marshmallow. Marshmallow. That's a cute name. I'll call you Marshmallow," I said and then I turned the other direction. I gasp as I see a vampire.

- Ferid's P.o.V. -

"My, you have such wonderful singing, little livestock" I said as I started approaching her.

- Dawn's P.o.V. -

I started backing up while I was holding Marshmallow in the box and I hit my back against the wall. I got scared. "Please, don't hurt me!" I said.

- Ferid's P.o.V. -

"Oh, don't worry, little livestock. I won't have any intention in hurting someone with such a beautiful voice in singing. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity of talent like yours," I said while smiling.

- Dawn's P.o.V. -

I started calming down when he said that he had no intention of hurting me.

- Ferid's P.o.V. -

"My name's Ferid. What's your name, little livestock?" I asked.

- Dawn's P.o.V. -

"Dawn." I replied. "And this baby kitten is named "Marshmallow,"

- Ferid's P.o.V. -

"That's such a beautiful name. And your hair is adorable too. It reminds me of Queen Krul's," I said. "Hey, would you like to come to my mansion?" I asked.

- Dawn's P.o.V. -

"I've never been at a mansion before," I said.

- Ferid's P.o.V. -

"Don't worry. You'll love it there, I promise," I said with a smile.
