*Heartbeats*

*Sighs*

Carson touches forehead. He sits up and gets on his knees. He sees the book beside him on the floor. He picks it up and gets up off the floor.

*Cleans nose*

*Exhales*

Carson looks to his right facing the mirror. His reflection was different. He notices he has his suit on. The tie, the belt, shoes and everything. He takes a closer look at his face.

His eyes were glowing bright red, his skin was gray, and his hair was combed. He turns his head to look at his facial features. As he's touching his face, he notices his hands were also gray. He turns around, noticing the room is a mess. He looks at the mirror again. His reflection was normal, but he was still wearing his suit.

Carson's head- "Was all that real? Did that really happen? This can't be real... Did I really summon a demon? Probably. Or maybe I was just daydreaming as I was putting on my suit and must have passed out somehow."

Music is heard coming from outside. Assuming homecoming has started, Carson walks out of the classroom to go find his friends.

Meanwhile:

Jake- "Next!"

*Takes ticket*

Jake, one of Carson's classmates, is managing the ticket booth at the entrance of the college's courtyard. He's tall, has brown hair and was not wearing a costume. After the person in front walked into the campus, Carson taps Jake's shoulder to get his attention.

*Tap*

*Tap*

Jake turns around.

Carson- "Hey Jake." (Says silently)

Jake- "Carson?"

Carson- "You don't mind if you take my ticket, right?"

Jake- "Yeah. I don't mind."

He gives Jake the ticket. Since Carson is a theater major, he can give his ticket without waiting in line. Jake looks at Carson again.

Jake- "Nice suit but, who are you supposed to be?"

Carson- "Nobody. I just got dressed up for the dance. I didn't want to wear a costume this year."

Jake takes tickets from the line as the conversation continues.

Jake- "Me too. I don't need one anyway."

Carson- "Listen man. Can you keep a secret? You cannot tell anyone."

Professor Elle comes over to the booth with Alberto.

Pro. Elle- "Hey Jake, go out and have fun with the others. I'll take it from here. Oh, hi Carson. Happy Halloween."

Carson- "Happy Halloween to you too, Professor Elle."

Pro. Elle- "We finished up our haunted house. I recommend you go see it."

Carson- "Really (sarcastically)? I'll check it out before I leave."

Pro. Elle- "You're going to leave? But homecoming just started."

Carson- "That's not what I actually meant. But even if I wanted to stay, I can't."

The conversation pauses for a moment, and everyone was confused.

Pro. Elle- "I'm not understanding."

Carson prepares to walk away, but he turns his head towards Pro. Elle and Alberto.
