"Luster Dawn, how could you-"

An upcoming series of coughs interrupted Twilight from finishing her sentence. Her heart pounding faster, causing her vision to be slightly blurred and her breath shorten.

She knew she was getting weak. She can feel it in her bones. Her legs are trembling, struggling to keep her balanced as her heart ached every minute and every second she breaths in.

The dusts just making her condition even worse. The sky was unusually dark purple with hints of the usual night blue sky. Clouds of dust are everywhere. So does the dark clouds up there. Tearing away the classy and royalty picture of Canterlot in its glory. In the city Princess Twilight Sparkle have protected in over 40 years.

The princess managed to keep herself from all the pain shaking her body and soul, and blew up a powerful strike from her once glorious horn -- now all bleeding from the missing part, leaving half the size of it sparkling with powerful magical aura before it launches forward to collide with a yellow barrier, protecting the other pony from any harm.

This is it, she declared as soon as the strength she have managed to build all crashing together, making a loud thud! as the mighty Ruler of Equestria fell down crashing into the hard rocky ground. Every part of her is aching. Her legs, her horn, her lungs, everything was on fire. But the pony on the other side was still unharmed.

How can she be so foolish, it echoes in her mind. Is being the Princess of Friendship make her think she can reform everyone within her reach? Twilight should've known that her golden age, her prime has passed as soon as she have been separated with those who she used to go on adventures with. And as soon as she developed some serious health problems about 9 years ago.

The former Elements of Harmony now was just a happy memory. Memory that Twilight Sparkle should've kept inside of her for hundreds and hundreds of years. To tell the tale to many new generations. And always live the legend they were meant to be.

But this, is not how the legend is supposed to end. Not in some tragic way that will leave out bad assumption for the new generations. They will all think those brave, amazing adventures of Equestria's most powerful defend barrier to be just a fake mythology because the one main leader end up tragically im the hoof of a new transformed alicorn.

That is not what Twilight always imagined to be. She thought with her immortality, she can be the one living evidence to prove that all of their adventures were real. But now it will all just be part of her imagination.

The running thoughts stopped as she felt her lungs shrink and more amount of blood was being coughed out.

The maniacal laugh of her former student raise the princess' face up in fury. Furious of the fact that all of this disaster is caused by the pony she once call a student. Furious because of the fact that her decision of transforming her faithful student to be a new princess in Equestria turns out to be a total chaos. Furious because she have been fooled by the pony she used to be a daughter-figure to the princess herself.

"What a shame that the so-called "most powerful pony" in all of Equestria is now facing death right under my hoof!" The laughter continues. "What are you waiting, Princess? Your friends to come and help you like in the past?"

Luster Dawn lit her horn and raised the princess' unpleasant face of her disrespect. She then put an innocent face, and then caressed her former mentor's bloody cheeks, more to her mentor's displeased expression.

"Wait, they're already gone," says Luster Dawn, smirking as she undid the spell and let Twilight's face come crashing hardly onto the ground decorated with her own blood.
