After all these months and me having a girlfriend, you would have thought I'd be over her, but I'm not. Seeing her was like a slap to the face. Why did I choose my career over her? I know it was the best for both of us, but there should have been another way.
Another thing that was irritating me was that she too was in a relationship! I didn't want anyone touching what was mine. I know it's wrong that I have a girlfriend and don't want her, but truth is it's not even like that. Selena and I are only dating for publicity. I mean I guess there was a point in time where I had feelings for her but she quickly shut that idea down. Scooter and Selena's manager suggested we try this thing out and since it worked we just stuck with it for the past few two years.
Seeing Brooklyn, brought all the feelings back, and when I saw her and that guy it was like a punch in the face, a painful reminder that she wasn't mine anymore. I wanted to just take her back right then but she looked really happy, and I don't wanna destroy her happiness because in the end I was the one who ruined it all and cause so much pain for her.
"Justin, were you even listening to what I said?" Selena scoffs and I roll my eyes. One thing about Selena, she was a total sweetheart at times but there were times where she was just a bitch. "Yes Selena, I was listening." I put my phone down and look up at my 'girlfriend'. "So that girl... She wasn't just some old friend to you was she?" Before I could answer her she beat me to it. "And don't lie to me. I'm not stupid I saw the way you looked at each other.." In a way Selena was kind of my bestfriend I guess, since of course we spend a lot of time together we told each other everything.
"She was the girl that I left for all of this... And now that I think about it, it was a big mistake." I shake my head remembering that night of my concert in Atlanta. "What happened?" Selena raises an eyebrow. "It was just too complicated, it was start of my career and having a girlfriend right then would be too much, and too distracting, it was either her or my career and well you see what was my choice." I say looking down at my food in front of me. "Do you regret that choice?" Selena asks as she takes a sip of her water.
"Yeah, a lot, but I guess it was whats best for the both of us.." I sigh, even If I wanted to get her back, I can't, she's in a relationship now. "Justin, pull your head out of the clouds, that girl is still high over heels for you, I saw the way she looked at you. And when she saw me and thought I was your actual girlfriend, she looked as if she was crushed." Selena says leaning back in chair. "You really think she still loves me?" There was little hope forming in me that maybe one day I'd have my girl back.
"Yes, I'm sure of it." She smiles at me and I think I had the biggest smile on me. "You wouldn't mind if I uh went after her?" I ask Selena, honestly this whole fake relationship was getting annoying. "Of course not, but if you're planning on getting her back, we need to break up today. It won't look good for you or her if we break right before you're seen with another girl." She says pointing to the paparazzi. "Well how do you wanna do it? Dramatic? Chill?" I raise an eyebrow.
"Let's just do chill." She whispers. "that way we could still be seen as friends together." She smiles and I nod my head. "look Justin, I don't think that this is working out, it's not you, it's me. We can still be friends though." She says loud enough so the tables around us could here. I mean they were probably already eavesdropping, since I'm Justin Bieber, one of them were probably gonna sell this story out to the media and it'd be out before morning.
"Selena are you breaking up with me?" I ask, once again making sure I was loud enough to be herd. "I'm sorry Justin, it's just not working. I'll always love you." She winks and then mouths 'go get your girl back' before exiting the room. "Glad that's over." I mumble to myself before getting up myself. I put on the best sad face I could and walk out into the storm of paparazzi.
"Justin! Justin! Why aren't you and Selena together!?" I was trying to find my way to the car. Damn where are the bodyguards when you actually need them? "Is Jelena officially over? Is there no more Justin and Selena?" Another one says and I wipe my face for dramatics. "Alright alright! No more of that." One of the bodyguards comes to my rescue. Finally! I hop in my car and drive off. I decided to dial my bestfriend's number.
"What's up dude! Feels like I haven't herd from you in forever." He chuckles and I shrug. "When you're famous you don't really have time." I laugh and Ryan scoffs, I can see him rolling his eyes at that comment. "Anyways, I' just seen that you and Selena broke up? So is that publicity stunt over now?" Ryan knew about Selena and what she really was doing, he didn't really like her because he thought she was some famewhore. "Yes bro, but guess who I ran into!" I probably sound like a chick but I needed some bestfriend advice.
"Brooklyn, she called Isabella early and told her. Then Isabella went on this rant and was like this is fate. The two are totally meant to be." I laugh at Isabella, still the same old Bella. "What did she say? I mean Brooklyn what did she say about me?" I ask. "I don't know Isabella wouldn't say, but how did you feel seeing her?" He asks and I shrug. "I mean she's the reason me and Selena 'broke up', Selena told me to go for it, but she's dating another guy, I can't." I shake my head and Ryan scoffs.
"Whatever, just get your girl back. You haven't been the same Justin since she's left you." I guess that was somewhat true, but I've always kept myself busy with work. So I've never noticed the change in me. "Anyways Isabella and I found a place down there and we're moving in together.. So we'll be there next week." Ryan says and I smirk. "Ryan and Justin are back in business baby!" I actually missed Ryan, it got boring down here, plus all my friends I have down here, they're not exactly my 'friends' except for Za and Alfredo they were great but the rest of them eh not so much.
"You know it! But when I get down there, operation get Justin's girl back is defiantly gonna be in motion." I roll my eyes at him. "This isn't 3rd grade Ryan." I say and he laughs. "Whatever, do some research on this guy, and find out what you're up against. Butler out." And with that he hung up the phone. This dude was crazy.
But operation get my girl back was totally on motion.

I don't hate Selena Gomez, I actually love her, so sorry to any of her fans I might have offended in this chapter!
