Surprise Parents (One Direction fanfiction)

Isn't that awesome?

6 weeks later:

I hungrily took some random food in the fridge, not caring what it was. I still had the taste of vomit in my mouth, and I was desperate to get rid of it.

"You threw up again?" Perrie asked worried, I nodded slowly, and sat down at the table next to her. "I'm really worried, Jade! You've been sick every morning for almost two weeks!". I swallowed the piece of cake, which I apparently took. "You should really go to a doctor! What if you're pregnant?".

"Perrie, I haven't had sex since Ni-" I said, and both our eyes widened. "My period's late.".

"Oh my god!". She grabbed my arm, pulling me into the bathroom. She went through the drawers, then held a pregnancy test in front of me.

"There's only one. What if this one doesn't work right?".

"Just try, after we'll go to the doctor," she calmed me down, I nodded nervously, taking the test in my hand. She went out, and I did what had to be done. I let her in again, and we waited impatiently.

"Positive..." I managed to get out, when it showed the result.

"Come here,". She embraced me in a tight hug to comfort me, then we went to the doctor.

After sitting in a waiting room at the hospital for a while, where Perrie was walking around in steady circles, until it was my turn.

"Jade Thirlwall?" a doctor called out, I stood up shaking, and Perrie squeezed my hand lightly with a calming smile.

We followed the doctor into a room, and I laid down on the bed.

"Hi Jade, I'm Dr. Miller," she said friendly, shaking my hand.

"I'm Perrie, I'm a friend," Perrie introduced herself, and Dr. Miller chuckled shortly.

"Yes, I know. I have a teenage daughter,". I couldn't help a little laugh, and I smiled to Dr. Miller. She started to question me, how long ago it was, and then she began the ultrasound. I was nervously waiting for her to finish up and tell me.

"Well?" I asked, biting my lip.

"Jade, you're pregnant, about 5-7 weeks,". I froze completely, Perrie took my hand in hers, and Dr. Miller left us alone for a while.

"Sweetie, we'll figure this out. You know Niall, I know Niall. He would never leave his baby!". I nodded shortly, agreeing with her.

"When are the boys back from tour?". She squinted her eyes together, thinking.

"2 weeks," she stated smiling, and I faked a strained smile. "But you can call him now! Or Skype him.".

"No, he should get to know in person," I announced determined, and sat up. "Let's go home,". She agreed nodding, we thanked the doctor, and we sat in Perrie's car. "Am I going to be a good mum?".

"Of course, you're gonna be a good mum! And I assure you, Niall's gonna be an amazing dad! I've seen him with Lux,". I smiled genuinely, and she started the car.

"What about something to eat?". She laughed at me, but drove to the nearest McDonalds, where I stuffed myself with burgers.

Perrie’s POV:

I had been walking around with the worry for some time. Jade threw up every morning, it made me so scared, but when we sat there at the table, it hit me.

Pregnancy.

When my suspicion was confirmed, I didn’t know what to think. I mean, I had to calm her down, of course. But I was pretty freaked out inside too, Jade was only 19, so was Niall. I knew they would be great parents, but I didn’t know the fans and media would say. Or what the boys and the girls would say.

But to be honest, I loved the thought of being Aunt Perrie. And deep inside, Jade loved the thought of being a mum too.

When we got home from McDonalds, she laid down on the couch, and I took the remote, turning the tv on.

“Thanks, Perrie. You really got my mood up, and.. I’m really excited,” she said smiling, I let a huge grin over my lips, before sitting down on the other couch. I switched over to Friends. “How do you think Niall will react?”. I looked over to her, who was biting her lip.

“He’ll be happy for sure,” I answered with a calming smile, she nodded shortly. “Should I ask Leigh and Jesy over tomorrow?”.

She nodded insecure. We looked at the tv again, concentrating on the screen instead. I don’t know why, but I couldn’t get the picture of a mini Jade/Niall mix out of my head.

"I love you, Perrie Louise Edwards," she mumbled smiling, I let out a laugh, and I sneaked over to her. I laid down next to her, putting my arm around her.

"I love you too, Jade Amelia Thirlwall,". I kissed her forehead, before we snuggled up close, listening to the tv.

Jade's POV:

The next morning, I woke up, thinking it was a dream. But when I walked into the living room, seeing Jesy and Leigh-Anne sitting on the couch. They really didn't know what was gonna hit them.

"Morning girls," I spoke with my usual voice, but it was so much more weaker than usual. They both looked confused up at me, then Perrie fortunately showed from the kitchen.

"Jade found out something yesterday. She found out, that something more happened between Niall and her," she began insecure. "Jade's pregnant. Isn't that awesome?". They both seemed to stumble over words, as they shook their heads in disbelief.

"Pregnant? But you used protection, right?" Jesy asked shocked, I sat down on the other couch, taking a deep breath.

"There wasn't any condom on the floor, but don't freak out just yet, it haven't been three months. I'm keeping it, no matter what. You should know that,". They nodded slowly, sitting down next to me.

"And we're here to support you, the baby and Niall all the time," Leigh-Anne exclaimed happily, they both embraced me in a hug. "And besides, Aunt Leigh, Aunt Jesy and Aunt Perrie are gonna be the coolest aunts ever!". I couldn't help a laugh, and I looked at my best friends in the whole wide world.

"Thanks," I said smiling. "It means a lot.". They smiled sweetly, the four of us hugging once again.

"I call dibs on godmother!". I rolled my eyes at the excited Perrie, but I ended up surrendering. Knowing that the girls would be there for me, was enough. I didn't even need Niall. Who was I kidding? Of course, I needed him. He was the father of my unborn child. I needed to tell him, as soon as he got home.
