Kathrine Hikamoto was only 15 years old when she was left alone to take care of her little sister who was barley 5. Kathrine held her baby sisters hand outside a house burning with flames as Fire force and fighter fighters were there trying to distinguish the flames.
"Hika... mama papa are okay ?"
Kathrine was out of her trance of the fire once she heard her sisters voice. She looked down at the little girl and hugged her.
"It'll be just us now, okay Munchkin."
As hours passed Kathrine just stood there holding her sister looking at the now burned ashes of her home.
"Those infernals were strong we managed to kill them!" Said a Special Fire Force
Kathrine turned around with you in her arms asleep as she looked at the person who was speaking.
"Hey Mirage don't talk like that."
"It's true don't you think that ! We just killed them torture them a bit-"
He was then on the floor as a girl slides across the concrete.
"How dare you speak of my family like that!!"
"What the hell!"
Mirage saw that the girl stood up and dusted herself off.
"Woah Mirage did you see that?" Said Flail
Flail looked between the girl and the little girl
"you guys are from Station 3 I believe that's captain Giovanni-"
She then was struck down as a foot laid on her back.
"Captain!" They yelled
Kathrine's body ached as she felt that force hit her.
"Your pretty quick girl, I never thought a human girl would do that..."
"get off me you bastard !" Yelled Kathrine
He stepped on her harder she screamed in pain. You were watching the whole scene go down. You were crying
"That'll teach you a lesson little girl don't mess with the fire force." Said the captain
He then kicked your sister as he and his subordinates left. Kathrine sat up. Then she felt little arms around her neck
"are you okay?!"
"Yeah I'm fine."
*time skip Kathrine : 20 Y/n : 10*
"Look Hika! One day I'll be a hero! Protect you and Lady Tamarie !"
Hika looked at her little sister and laughed.
"Of course you want too. "
"Yeah! And when I'm older I can find out what happened to mama and Papa-"
Kathrine eyes widen
"No!" She yelled
She quickly snatched You and pulled you closer to her gripping your arms
"Never ! Ever find out what happened that night okay! Promise me ! You'll forget it!"
"But-'mama papa-"
"Their dead ! They aren't coming back"
Your eyes began to water. Kathrine sighed as she let you go
"Fine. But only when your in a company your allowed to find out."
"When I become a hero!"
Kathrine Smiled softly.
"Yes! Always remember your destined for greatness!"
