A/n Sorry for the late update!

The blond didn't want to admit it, but he knew his brother was right. After all, it was his fault for not taking the matter into his own hands.  He should have killed him, killed the thing fearing the town and its people. But no, he wanted to befriend the beast, and well... Play.

Shizuo shook his head.  He didn't know what he wanted, just that, he didn't want to hunt anymore.  He didn't want any more blood on his hands. He didn't want his blessing, he sought it as a curse. He thought that maybe, if he was normal, he wouldn't have had to struggle in the first place.  All the responsibility, the image he was supposed to keep, it was a lot.  Not enough for him to break, but enough for him to question a lot of things.

Okay so yes, it was his fault, he was definitely in the wrong, but was that so bad? Had it been someone else, they would've just called the person crazy and they would ask the priest for an answer. He would give an answer that was best suitable for the situation and leave it at that.  Should there be another conflict, he would solve it, yet again.

But it's different this time.

How should he solve this situation? What should he do?  Everyone thinks, kill the beast, he doesn't belong here, but as always, the priest thinks otherwise.

Tame him.

That was his idea.  It didn't seem so bad in the moment, but then again, a lot of ideas don't seem so bad in the moment it was thought of.  He sighed, clearly distressed.

"What to do..."

As if on cue, there was a knock on the door.

He perked up, not ready for another conversation.  "Yes?" He breathed out, a little irked. The door opened, revealing his brother and someone rather familiar.

"Hehe," breathed the demon. "Shizu-chan, I'm back..." He collapsed as the brother simply let him go. He looked up to Shizuo.

"So? What are you going to do now? You gonna tame him like you said you would? Or you gonna do what you were supposed to do and kill him?" Shizuo held his breath. He thought, he really thought about his answer, but he couldn't seem to think of one. Befriend the demon, or kill it?

"I-"

"Don't bother," Kasuka sighed. "I knew you would hesitate again. So I thought up a proposal." Shizuo stared, somewhat surprised. "I'll give you twelve days. No more and no less. If you don't succeed then, I will kill him myself."

"Twelve days for what?"

"Whatever you plan on doing. If you kill him, tame him, drive him out, I don't care. As long as it works. If you fail on the other hand, well, I told you what will happen." His brother sighed as he agreed to the terms.

"I'll agree. But on one condition." Kasuka remained silent, giving him the chance to explain. "You can not interfere with what I plan on doing. If you interfere, then you extend the time." The younger brother nodded a couple times as he thought. It seemed fair.

"Okay. Deal." They grabbed their Rosarios and wrapped it around their hands and shook, sealing the deal. Their deal was now sacred.  Should either one of them break their side of the deal, their life would drain by half.  Now Kasuka didn't really have powers similar to Shizuo's but he could do the basic spells and rituals.  Any more complex and he would fail.

He eyed the unconscious demon and then turned to leave. "I'll be at the church, cleaning up or whatever," and then door shut behind him.

The tension was gone as soon as that door shut, and the priest collapsed. Another deal he thought. Another deal. He shook his head before he decided to help the vampire that fell unconscious on the floor. He picked him up and placed him on the bed, gently this time. He smiled as he stroked his cheek, memories from the night before flooding once again. He didn't really have the desire to do that again, if anything, he would refrain from doing so.
