Winter

An idea frozen in a frosty white
Slipping away from her grasp
Numb fingers reaching for a void
Hopefully i can fill it with something empty?

A cold breeze lifting away her thoughts
Eyes are heavy, her mind is too
Wasting away the warmth
Grabbing, grabbing, grabbing
But ending up with nothing but a frigid hand

Wait a little longer, and the girl will see
The sun rising
Hotter than ever
Bringing an endless supply of colour

Have some faith
And you'll see too
That the freezing winter will always subside
