The Sacred Games (Octane X Wattson)

The Beginning

He woke up next to her, and shot up, he could see the pale ceiling above him and the walls were a bright blue. He got up and threw on a pair of shorts he kept in her room and a T-shirt, he went out of the door and into the kitchen-like area that they had in the headquarters.

Judging on the experience I had yesterday, there were really no secrets I had kept from the Legends anymore, me and Natalia weren't a secret to any of them, judging by what Loba had pulled. I grabbed the pot we had for coffee and started getting some ready, it was around 10am and we had a game today, it really didn't matter to me, I had barely slept. Renee crept up behind me and sat down, 'Can I have a cup as well? Or are you gonna chug all of it to yourself?' I laughed and she smiled, then I poured her a cup and drank the rest myself, Makoa was the next to wake up, he came over to us and gave me a big bear-like hug and turned on the cooker, 'Who's hungry Brudda's?' He said, and me and Renee both nodded, then Ajay walked in, 'Ay, don't forget me,' She said and Makoa laughed.

I sat in the corner, the chair which I was used to sitting on and waited for Makoa to finish cooking, the game was scheduled for midday so we had a few hours to kill, the difference with this match is the duo play style that they wanted to use, Caustic came and sat by me, 'The game the other day was inadequate, however, I can't wait to see how my... Tests, go today.' He said in a menacing tone, he scared me slightly, but he couldn't really do any harm outside of his lab or the arena. 'Ay whatever amigo, as long as you dont use that stuff in here.' I said and he let out a low chuckle, looking at me and watching my every move, he made me super uncomfortable. Makoa came over and served up the food he had cooked for me, then moved around, handing people any food they could wish for.

I ate mine and gave my plate back to Makoa, who threw it in the sink with ease. I clapped and laughed, 'Ay amigo, that was a good shot.' he high fived me, and I walked back towards my room, I hadn't fully been in there for a few days due to basically living in Natalie's room, so I went in to take a shower.

Once I was out of the shower, it was almost time for the game, I walked into my room and saw Nat sat in the corner, she looked at me and gasped, 'Octavio, I didn't.. I..' She started stuttering and stood motionless, I laughed, 'Hey it's okay, Senorita, but can you give me a minute?' I said and she nodded, and left, I grabbed some clothes, only putting the shorts on, and let her know she could come back in. She looked at me, red as a tomato and I smiled, she opened her mouth but no words came out. 'Is there something wrong with your voice? Or did you see something you liked?' I said, kind of confidently, but mostly flirtily. She went even redder and sat down in the corner, clearly being weak at the knees. 'Sorry if i pushed it Natalie.' I stated as I threw the T-shirt on I had put out for myself and walked over to her, I sat on the arm of the chair and looked in her eyes. 'You didn;t, Octavio, I just..'

(Perspective change: Wattson)

I looked at him, stood there in a green pair of shorts, he was topless and looking at me with his engaging green eyes, I fell for him hard the moment I met him. I tried to speak and tell him how good he looked but nothing fell out of my mouth, my voice had gone and hid due to embarrassment. 'Is there something wrong with your voice? Or did you see something you liked?' His confidence overtook me and I became weak, I went redder than I already was and had to sit down, I looked at him, 'Sorry if I pushed it, Natalie.' He said and he threw on his shirt, No more of his body then, I thought, he came over to me and sat on the arm of the chair, looking into my eyes, How do I tell him, I thought, 'You didn't, Octavio, I just... Got nervous, I remember the first game I was in, me, you and Bangalore, and I had to ressurect you due to the relay coming down on top of you.. Your cracked goggles reveiled your eye.. I have loved you ever since. Bangalore knew but she never told you, told me that it would go to your head, same with Ajay.'

(Perspective change: Octane)

I starred back, as if Ajay had kept it a secret for so long, 'Listen here Senorita, I don't know how she kept it from me, but Makoa and Anita both knew, so Anita has known we have had feelins for each other for a year.. and never set us up.' I stated and then laughed to myself, 'I guess it was General's orders.' We both laughed until we heard a knock on the door, then the person entered, 'I heard General's orders? If you are talking about me, I am Sergant First Class. Now, dropship is ready.' Bangalore said, and we just nodded and laughed, we walked together to the dropship and talked tactics, thinking of what we were going to do if we were paired.

We got onto the dropship and the squads were being announced, all duos except one squad.

'Squads are: Squad 1: Bangalore and Lifeline
Squad 2: Caustic and Bloodhound
Squad 3: Mirage and Crypto
Squad 4: Loba and Revenant
Squad 5: Wattson and Octane 
Squad 6: Pathfinder, Gibraltar and Wraith.'

We all looked around the cabin, towards Loba and Revenant, 'If you think I am working with this Demonio, You can shove it.' She screamed at him, and he just laughed his sick, twisted laugh. 'I want to remind you, I am already 2 kills ahead of all of you, isn't that right Loba. Mommy and Daddy.' He stated back and the entire dropship stood still, no sound but the wind rushing against the sides of the aircraft, Makoa stood up, but before he could, Loba and Revenant both charged at each other.
