1. Graduation day

"Congrats!" he wished me and my best friend, Kim Jennie, as we get into the car. We both thanked him as Jin started driving. Jennie is the only one who knows I have a crush on him a.k.a my brother Park Jimin's best friend, Kim Taehyung.

It has been going on like this for three years. He had been friends with my brother for the last five years. So our family knew him since then but it wasn't until one day that out of nowhere I started growing feelings for him and it remained so from then on.

And I never confessed if you are wondering, mainly because I'm a chicken.
And the worst part, he is dating Park Rosé, a young model, studying in the same college as taehyung and jimin. Not to mention, the most popular girl there.

Right now me, jimin, taehyung, jennie, and her brother Kim Seokjin who is also my brother's friend are on our way to the graduation ceremony because today I and jennie are graduating from high school.

It's not that I'm super excited about it but of course a little. And definitely relieved to be out of this school.

And since wherever jimin goes, taehyung accompanies him and vice versa (Yeah, they're both pretty much soulmates ¯\_(ツ)_/¯) so taehyung is also coming with us.

As usual, my parents were busy so they couldn't come.

We reached the address of the ceremony and I see a few familiar faces and many unfamiliar ones. And students were already receiving their certificates.

Yes, we were late! so we immediately find some empty seats in the middle.

I wait for my turn...

A few moments after jennie, I see myself walking towards the principal on stage. Holding the certificate, I smile at the camera after bowing to my teacher.

After the whole thing was over, everyone gathered at the garden area outside the hall.

Many things were happening at once. Some were talking to their parents, a few face-timing their close ones who couldn't be here. Some talking on the phone, receiving greetings, and some became too emotional.

Talking about me, I have some friends but I mostly hang out with jennie. Since we both are going to the same college, the one jimin and taehyung are in now, we will stay together and fortunately for the rest of our lives too.

Though I've faced many tough times, like when I had huge assignments pending or whenever I received detention for nothing I did or having to listen to boring lectures which go on forever, I have to admit that I also had many happy memories here.

But what I should really look forward to now is what's coming next. I'm finally entering college!

So throughout the next few years, I'm going to put my complete concentration on college and college only and no other distractions.

Syke, I'm kidding. This happens every time I start a new thing, I hold so much motivation in me to work that thing out that I sometimes start feeling like a saint.

And every single time, I end up being the complete opposite of what I planned.

So this time, I don't reckon myself to do anything remarkable, but just hope that I work hard enough to get myself a decent career by the end while still having fun.

As for taehyung, I don't know whether to feel happy or sad that I'll be going to the same college as him.
I mean, now I get to see him more often but the thing is, I used to be super chatty with him before but time passed and somehow we became distant through the course.

Regardless, what is the use of wanting him when he is already dating a goddess whose level I could never reach even in my dreams?
