*cough cough.. sorry about that.*Bell's P.O.V*
This was not normal. Gods weren't supposed to be in the dungeon. I've heard her name before but foolishly passed it off as legends and rumors. I broke a cold sweat in Hades' presence. So many questions and concerns rose up overwhelming me. Unable to form it all into a sentence my mouth spoke only one word:
"Why?"
She stood up revealing her short stature and approached me. "I need you Bell." Now just feet away from me she stared into my soul. Her scarlet eyes saw into my very being.
"Pure as snow. Will of steel. You possess the qualities of a hero." She paused as if in thought before continuing. "The black dragon you saw in your dream is very much real."
I gasped remembering Ais and how she spoke of the creature. "The one-eyed dragon?" I asked carefully. Even now I was unsure how to take Hades. She came across as a friend sometimes and sometimes as a foe.
Hades clapped her hands in delight. "Yes, so you've heard of the beast!" I nodded my head. "You Mr. Cranell will defeat it." The way she said Mr. Cranell was not a form of respect. She said it playfully almost as if mocking me.
The one-eyed dragon huh? Ms. Ais' goal was to defeat that beast. If she still was striving to grow stronger to kill it... then how would I be able to kill the dragon? Doubt gripped my heart.
"Why me?" I ask frustrated. She put her finger on my nose lightly. "Because you are the Argonaut." She giggled happily. Darkness enveloped my vision before I could register what was happening and the world slipped away. It was all too quick for me to grasp anything...
Unanswered questions gnawed at me like a disease. As my vision cleared I found myself laying at the entrance of the dungeon staring towards the sky.
"How long was I gone.." I muttered looking up. I noticed a rolled-up paper in my hand. I immediately deduced it was from Hades. I put it in my pocket deciding to worry about it later. The sky had somehow turned black suggesting many hours had passed.
"Bell Cranel?" The voice of a child spoke to me. I looked and saw none other than The Braver staring at me. He was a level 6 adventurer standing at 5 feet tall. It looked like he was just exiting the dungeon.
The captain approached me with a small smile. "It's a relief to see you."
"What do you mean?" I didn't where understand his sincere statement came from.
"Ais has been looking for you. We've been trying to get her to return to base but she's spent hours scouring the dungeon for a certain white-haired adventurer." Finn explained. "She is definitely worried."
He puts his hand on my shoulder as if trying to convey a message. We make eye contact before he continues on his way home.
Worried about me?
*3rd person*
Ais Wallenstien was good at many things, but it was common knowledge that she fell short when it came to emotions.
She was not accustomed to the panic overwhelming her usually calm demeanor. Her rabbit had disappeared, and it was her responsibility.
Footsteps approached on the floor she was on. "A monster" she thought to herself before drawing her sword. Expertly she pounced and sliced towards the noise.
"Hold on a second!" A young boy's voice cried out. He managed to parry her blade but shock filled his face.
"Is that Bell?" She said out loud.
"YES IT'S ME!" He screamed not wanting to take another strike from her.
She sheathed her sword before holding out her hand helping him up.
"Ais I-" she turned sharply on him and punched him square in the jaw. The impact sent him flying.
She dusted off her hands before whispering two words "You...Jerk". She walked away leaving a speechless Bell lying on the ground.

"Thanks, Hestia." Bell murmured as the goddess held an ice pack on his cheek.
"Are you sure you don't want to talk about what happened to your face?"
Bell shook his head quickly. That was the last thing he wanted to do.He still had a hard time understanding Ais' actions. If she was worried for him then why...
He was so confused he wanted to scream. If she showed up he would ask her about it tomorrow during training. He still had time before their Familia started exploring the dungeon again.
"Goddess". Hestia was tending to him with a cold rag and a warm smile. She looked as the boy spoke, "What is it Bell?"
"Have you ever heard of the Goddess Hades?" Hestia nodded slowly in suspicion.
"Why do you ask Bell? Hades isn't one to hang around with. She cant be considered exactly evil but she does act with her own interests in mind." Mainly Hestia didn't want her Bell hanging around with someone like that.
Bell understood. His previous conversation with the mischievous goddess matched Hestia's description.
Bell was going to keep their meeting to himself. Even for a little while until he figured some things out on his own."No reason Goddess. I was curious is all" he answered rather abruptly before standing. "I'm going to go get some rest. I appreciate you helping me" Bell was smiling at the goddess ignoring her suspicious expression.
"Now how am I going to explain this to Ais?" He asked himself.
Bell sat up on his bed and lit a candle. He made sure his door was locked. This room was his own personal space away from Orario and the rest of the familia. A place of solace.
The scroll was rough around the edges. His hands opened it revealing rough writing in dark ink.
A quest.

I'm going to increase my writing to more than just one chapter a day. I'll try to do at least a few. What's time-consuming is proofreading and ensuring everything is as it should be even though I'm aware I miss things sometimes. Thanks for reading as always! ^~^
