Monday. I am home alone. I guess i never really had a time for myself ever since i gave birth. I spent my time being a wife and a mother.

It's still early. Hindi pa nakakauwi si Nicco at kakaalis lang ni Xander. Nasa kwarto lang ako at di lumabas. I haven't eaten yet, inaantay ko si Nicco para sabay kaming kumain. I already took a bath. I am wearing a white turtle neck long sleeved sweater paired with black pants and sneakers. I let my hair down to hide everything.

I texted Gerica asking where they are. I cannot wait to see my little angel. She replied Malapit na po. I smiled. I hope my baby behaved.

A few minutes later while staring at the ceiling, one of the maids knocked. "Ma'am, nandito na po sila Miss Gerica."

"Okay."

I looked at the mirror and fixed myself. I made sure na walang makakahalata. Hopefully.

Bumaba ako at sinalubong ni Nicco. "Mommy!" he screamed

I carried him. "I missed you, baby." I kissed his cheek.

"I missed you too." he said, smiling.

Binaba ko siya at tumingin kay Gerica. She smiled at me. I smiled back. I looked right into her eyes, she blinked to conceal the emotion that's evident in her eyes. Even if she blinked, i already knew what that emotion was, it was pity.

Does she know what happened last night?

We stared at each other until she spoke, "Are you alright, sis?"

I gasped, I think she knows. Did Xander tell her?

Pull yourself together, Ayumi! Nicco is beside you!

I looked at Nicco who was staring at my wrist curiously. I immediately pulled the sleeve to hide it. Tinignan ko ulit si Gerica and smiled. "Of course, why wouldn't I be?"

She sighed. "I'm gonna go now."

"Okay", i answered, "Nicco, say goodbye to your aunt."

Nicco went to her and hugged her. She gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"Addio, Nicco."

"Addio, mamita."

Hinatid namin siya in front of her car. Rolls-Royce Phantom.

"Nice car." i commented

"Thanks."

"You drive it?"

"Yeah, i like driving it than letting others drive."

"Oh."

She opened the door, before she went inside she looked at me. "You know you can tell me anything, right? I'll listen."

I looked at her with questioning eyes. "Yeah." i answered

"Goodbye. Take care." She said and went inside the car.

Nicco and I went inside the house.

"Kumain ka na, baby?" i asked him

"Not yet, i told halmeoni and mamita that i'll eat with you."

"Oh, okay. Let's eat together."

Pumunta kami sa kusina.

We ate together while he was telling me all about the things they did yesterday. He looked happy. He is eating his favorite cereal and I am only eating an omelet.
