"Wake up! Wake UP Maddy!" If I'm not mistaken, I hear my best friend, Bianca's voice, squeeling in my ear.

I feel her hands on my shoulder as I begin to open my eyes. Wow. The bedroom is shot with sunlight and it's incredibly tough to adjust.

"I.. I am up." I say with a low voice wondering if she even heard me.

"We have to get to school early today. Mrs Peterson said that she will be handing out the school news paper and if we are not early enough we won't get a copy." she said waving her hands in the air.

Today is March 24th. My best friend and I always try to keep up with the news paper day at our school. It's hard because we have to stand up really early to be in time for the first copies.

"I know, I know. I don't get why my alarm clock didn't go off.." I say trying not to smile. I know exactly why. I didn't remember to set the alarm clock because I was so busy with homework and the book I'm reading that I basically passed out right after I took a bath.

"Right.." she rolls her eyes at me and I giggle. She knows me too well.

"By the way, how did you get in here?" I ask her while changing into my clothes. I'm wearing purple top, skinny jeans and converse.

"Your mom let me in. Somehow I knew you would be late." She informs me and we both share a laugh while I pull my hair into a messy bun.

"Do you want to walk today?" I ask her and put my books in my bag.

It's a lot easy because I live a few blocks away from school. Although, the school bell isn't as pleasurable but I guess it's worth it.

"Yeah. We have to hurry, we are going to be late."

"Where are you girls heading off to in such a hurry?" My mom asks as we pass her down the hall.

"News paper day!" I tell her and she nods while laughing.

.....

"You look really pretty today." I say to her. She's wearing a beautiful navy-blue dress and high heels. She always dress so formal, it just looks uncomfortable.

"Thank you, you too." She says with a smile gesturing towards my plain outfit.

"So have you heard anything yet? You know, the tickets?" I ask her. We are both huge Directioners and the concert is the 28th of March. We have to get tickets and we have to get it soon.

She sighs before replying. "No, not yet I hope." She looks down and I can see the sadness in her eyes.

"Dont worry. We'll make a plan, I'm sure." I try to comfort her. She is probably the worlds biggest Directioner. She knows things of the boys that I wouldn't even have considdered knowing. Her whole room is full of One Direction merch. From bed sheets to wallpapers and clothing. I'm not that obsessed really. I just like their music and think they're really cute.

The walk to the school is silent. Except for the few cars racing past us. Luckily, we have been friends for 7 years so it's not an awkward silence.

We get there just in time for the first copies.

The day seems like it's never going to end but I seriously don't want it to. Tomorrow is a day that I just don't want to have.
