*Hope county, July 2010*
It's been a month since you and Rachel got together and it has been the best month of your life. No more awkwardly tip toeing around your feelings, being able to cuddle during movies, and best of all, being able to be there for her every step of her rehab. Luckily the hospital allowed you to be there for her before and after her sessions, so you can see her steadily improving and the withdrawal symptoms were manageable thanks to the hospital. Pulling into the hospital lot, you check in and take the elevator up. As you walk up to her door you can't help but think: 'I'm lucky to have someone like her.' Finally at her door you knock. "Come in." You hear from the other side of the door. You walk in and see Rachel looking as beautiful as ever.
"Hey love, how's everything." You said as you closed the door. "Good, but I have great news." She said with a large grin. "Oh, what is it?" You said going to the seat next to her. "Ok, today is.. drum roll please." Gesturing to you. Chuckling, you indulge her and drum your fingers on the bed.
"Today is the final day of rehab, well rehab till I can leave anyway." She said looking at you with a smile. Ecstatic, you leaned over and gave her a hug and a peak on the check in celebration."That's great Rachel. Did they say if you're going to be discharged today or tomorrow." You said not trying to hold in your excitement. "They said that I can leave after the next season." She said toying with her hair. "Nice, we can call trac..." you began to say, but were cut off. "Or... or we could go out on a date, just the 2 of us." She said. "Sure, that would be great." You said as the doctor came in. "Ms. Jessop, it's time." The doctor said. "Ok, see you later Y/N." She said as you head out the door. "Ok, love you Rach." As you head to your truck after you leave, you get a call. "Hey Tracy, what's up." "Hey Y/N, mind heading over to Rachel's place." You thought over it for a sec "sure, it'll be a few but I'll be there." "Ok, see ya soon." With that, you began the drive to the Jessop conservatory.

The drive was long, but you finally pulled up to the building. You see Tracy tending to the flower bed in one of the green houses. "Hey Tracy." You called over to her. " Hey Y/N, mind helping me pull the weeds?" She asked as she got into a position to pull. "Sure, mind telling me why you asked me to come here." You said while you got to your knees to help. " Well while you were tending to Rachel in the hospital, I was here keeping her garden alive." She said finally get rid of the weed that was causing her problems. "Oh." You said, kinda feeling bad for not helping. Tracy seems to notice," don't worry Y/N, I wanted to do this for her." She said as she continued to pull weeds. "I actually want to thank you for being there for her." She continued finishing up her patch. " No problem Trac, I feel responsible for not being there for her sooner nor getting her help." You said finishing yours. "You're a good person Y/N." She said as she walked over to her car. 'So are you Tracy.' You thought as she left. Dusting yourself off and heading home, you can only think 'I need to show Rachel Tracy's Work.'

Finally getting home and taking a shower and getting dressed, you decided to watch some news when something caught your eye: "In other news, a new religious group called Project at Eden's Gate is spreading across the county. We have not been able to get any interviews with the people who are part of the group. We will update this story when more information comes in."
That's all you had to hear before you shut off the TV, ' Hmm, weird bunch.' Was all you really thought before the alarm on your phone went off. "Shit, I need to go pick up Rach." You said getting your keys and heading off.

Fanfiction(Faith seed x male deputy reader) So I fell in love with Faith's character and how her backstory is sympathetic. So after beating it and seeing that there aren't many books about her, I decided to try my hand at it.
