five.

/ flashback to a few days before /

Jungkook stepped into the studio, a little nervous as he knew he'd again be meeting up with Jimin. The other day Jimin had suggested they do a duet together, and Jungkook hadn't stopped thinking about it since. Over the past couple of weeks, Jimin and him had become close friends. At first, Jungkook was a bit on the fence with becoming Jimin's friend, due to Jimin's flirtatious nature to both him and you, but after getting to know him, he's a really soft and sweet guy who he has tons in common with. 

Jungkook set his belongings down and walked into the room, Jimin already sitting there waiting patiently, scrolling through his phone. Jimin looked up and giggled.

"Hii kook~!" He smiled happily and stood up to greet Jungkook. He looked cute today. An oversized white tee with ripped jeans- tight just enough. His eyes glistening as they stared into Kooks. 

"Are you ready to get started? I've been practicing." Jimin said proudly. Jungkook flashed his big bunny smile. 

"Yea I suppose we can get started." Kook smiled, wiping a bit of sweat off his forehead. Why was he so nervous? It's only Jimin. 

They both had done a few vocal warm ups before they got started, and once they were ready, Jungkook grabbed a couple of stools so they had a place to sit as they sang.

 Jungkook was so excited to sing with Jimin. He's heard him sing before. He was infatuated with Jimin's light and pretty tone.  

As they begun singing, Jungkook had started the first verse, he focused on getting every note right, but it was hard with Jimin's intense gaze looking directly upon you. Jungkook's heart raced as he made eye contact, and it led him to miss a note, so he quickly looked away. Why had he been feeling this way? He loved you, no question. No other man or woman could ever change the way he felt about you, but something about Jimin always made his stomach flutter, just as it does with you.

As Jimin's part came around, he sang every note flawlessly. However what Jungkook didn't know is that his heart had been racing just as fast.. he blushed as he sang, almost unable to contain his anxiousness. He was scared to go after Jungkook. He made sure he'd practice hours the night before so he could get it just right. He couldn't imagine fucking up in front of him. An embarrassing moment he'd remember for the rest of his life.

Both Jimin and Jungkook harmonized near the end of the song. The ethereal mixture of their voices filled the room, Both had an alluring yet needy look in their eyes. As they finished the song, Jungkook looked deep into Jimin's eyes. The sound of silence saturated the room around them. 

Jimin had abruptly got up, fed up with the frustration he had been feeling for the past few weeks. He pushed Jungkook into the wall beside him and smashed his lips against his, his hand gripping his shoulder. He had to do it, if not now, Jimin didn't know if he could ever work up the courage to do so again. Jungkook's heart had nearly pounded out of his chest. What was happening? One second he was singing a song with Jimin, the next Jimin's lips had been smooshed all over his own. He was overwhelmed by the sudden sensation, but Jungkook didn't stop him. Although it felt wrong, he didn't want to stop. He didn't realize it but this had been what he wanted too. He hesitantly kissed Jimin back, softly at first, but it soon led to intense, sloppy kisses. Jimin couldn't hold back his feelings, no matter how hard he had been trying. Jungkook's hands gripped his waist, pulling him further into the kiss. Jimin never wanted this to end. 

but of course- it did. 

Jimin had quickly opened his eyes, and pulled away from Jungkook. Jungkook quickly being pulled back into reality right along with him. 

"This is-I... I'm sorry." Jimin choked. "I couldn't help myself. Jungkook- it was wrong of me to do this." He finished, feeling guilty at the previous events. 

"No-no... I kissed you back. Don't be sorry." Jungkook apologized, his fingers pressed into his temples. "I- I liked it though." He confessed. Jimin turned cherry red at his words, a small smile formed on his face. 

"Me too..." sighed Jimin. "Truth is, I've really fallen for you and y/n. It's so wrong of me, I-I know.. I don't want to ruin your beautiful relationship. I shouldn't of kissed you Jungkook. I've probably messed everything up....It's just all so confusing." Jimin started to cry. It was true, he really had fallen for both you and Jungkook, but who was he to come in so randomly and ruin the perfectly good relationship you two had. 

"No- no it's ok... you didn't mess anything up. I'm confused too. I never knew I could feel this way about anyone else." Jungkook sighed, "It's even worse too because i'm pretty sure y/n likes you as well." he finished, pulling Jimin into a hug. They both stood in silence with the comfort of each other. 

"Y/n likes me too?" Jimin sniffled. 

"I think so- every time I talk about you, she makes this weird face. I can't explain it but, you saw the way she looked at you the first time we met." Jungkook remembered the look you had in your eye when you had first met Jimin. Who knew you'd both be feeling the same way about another person. What were you supposed to do in this situation? Does Jungkook tell you what had happened today in the studio, or does he keep it between himself and Jimin. 

"Jungkook..."

"Yeah?" Jungkook asked, Jimin still in his arms.

"What if.... we all were together?" he nearly whispered as he talked. 

"W-what do you mean?"

"Like- the three of us.. If all of us like each other. What if we just... date each other? See how it goes?" Jimin shyly suggested. "Of course- we don't have to do that. We can just never speak of this again, i just- its just up to you." Jimin said panicky-like, he didn't want to intrude any further than he already did. 

Jungkook had given it a few moments of thought. 

"We can try that..." Jungkook started, "but we have to get y/n's approval first. On Monday, we can meet up and talk about what happened today, and maybe before that, you can try to figure out where your relationship stands with her?" Jungkook stated. He was extremely nervous, he wasn't sure if he should tell you about the events of today right away. He was afraid in all of this, he'd lose both of you. But the feelings he had were worth the risk he was about to take.

HEY GUYS IM BACK. gOD I'm so sorry my updates are sooooo slow. I've been juggling drawing, and my business and all the crazy crazy events that are happening right now in the world and I just haven't had the time to write. But i'm glad to be back with such an exciting chapter! Hopefully this will really get the story going~ ALSOOOO
