Michael Afton x Reader

"Welcome to the first day of your exciting new career!"

The HandUnit went on his own speech while (Y/N) just tuned him out. It was the first day at her new job as a mechanic for the animatronics that were made by Afton Enterprise. She was hoping that it would be an easier job than her previous ones since she would have a partner this time.

After a while, HandUnit stopped talking and told (Y/N) to put her name in. (Y/N) tried and failed, making her name now be... 'Denim Shorts'. (Y/N) rolled her eyes at the fact that the machine was glitching out so badly.

"I hope that I can fix you one of these times." (Y/N) said with venom in her voice.

Finally, after a few minutes, the elevator reached the lowest floor and opened it's door. It revealed a lot of police tape and a small vent that one would have to climb through. (Y/N) shuttered at the small space since she didn't like being cramped.

'Let's just get this part over with.' (Y/N) thought as she quickly climbed through the vents.

Coming out on the other side, (Y/N) stood up and came face to face with a brunette male. They both stared at each other in bewilderment for a few seconds before the male broke the silence.

"*Ahem* Hi! My name is Michael Afton. What's yours?" The male, now known as Michael, announced while holding out his hand to (Y/N).

"According to the HandUnit, my name is 'Denim Shorts' but everyone else just calls me (Y/N)." (Y/N) informed Michael, making him laugh a bit.

"Yeah, according to that thing, my name is 'Eggs Benedict'. So I guess we're both unlucky, wouldn't you say Shorts?"

"Yes, yes I would Mister Benedict."

After a few more laughs and giggles out of the both of them, HandUnit came on and told them what they should do.

"Should we actually shock these things? I mean, they can probably take it but it would mess up the main frame and programming a lot more than most think." (Y/N) voiced her concerns.

"It should be fine. After all, if it has worked for this long, then it will still work now." Michael then pressed the red button and they both could hear the electricity on the other side.

"That sounded... Painful." (Y/N) commented, looking at Michael for some other guidance of some sort.

"It really did but good thing that these creatures are just robots instead of real life people." Michael said, trying to ease (Y/N)'s unease.

"Aww man, that would make everything worse. It doesn't help that Ballora was already human looking." (Y/N) said, holding her head in her hands.

"Sorry. Didn't mean to make you even more uncomfortable." Michael reassured (Y/N) and patting her head.

(Y/N) gave Michael a soft smile before returning the favor even though she had to stand on her tippy toes. After Ballora returned to her stage, it was Funtime Foxy's turn.

"Somehow I'm even more scared of shocking this guy than Ballora." (Y/N) commenting after seeing Funtime Foxy not on his stage.

"Wait, Foxy's a guy? I always thought that she was a girl."

"What made you think that? The Foxy at the sister location (A.K.A game 1) is a guy and is Foxy really a female's name?"

"Well, I think having the word Funtime before Foxy makes her a bit more girly and have you seen her  nails? They look just like acrylics."

"Have you heard his voice? He sounds just like a male show time announcer."

"Dang it. You're right. But why does HandUnit call her a girl?"
