shawn mendes"Hey Andrew, how is the interview process goin'?" I ask, pausing the track that's playing back to me through the headphones resting on my desk. We wanted to give Connor someone that shared his passion, as Josiah was going to take a step back while on tour. He would take care of events, and some main photo shoots with larger brands. And Connor would be leading the film and photography section of the upcoming tour. It would also bring some freshness to the team, not that it had been boring, but that you had noticed Connor frequently calling friends from home.
"Good afternoon Shawn, it's going well! I think we've found someone that could be a perfect fit for the team." Before I can ask who he is considering, Andrew is asking about how the album is coming along. Grateful he has been lenient on the dates for the album, I respond, "It's been going good man, I'm working on another track that came to me this morning. The studio is comfortable as always, and I've had so much inspiration lately. It's really great, I love it here." A smile spreading across my face, as I think about how much fun I've been having while working with the team to write songs I really love.
"I'm glad to hear that Shawn, we have another interviewee coming in soon but I'll talk to you soon about setting a up a new meeting late this month to select a the new one, alright?" Andrew replied, feeling the need to sort out all these possible photographers. I confirm the meeting suggested, and tell him to call me back when he sets a date. I'm quite excited to have a new addition to the team, a younger one to hangout with Connor. I wonder what it'll be like, and end up daydreaming about the tour that's coming up next year.

a/n: so excited for this series!!! it's similar to the one I previously had on my account, but revamped and a little but more thought out. I love the concept for the plot and had such a good time writing the prologue tonight, but I'll see you soon!
