The next morning you wake up sunlight pouring through the large windows in the room.

"Sir, hero, you must wake up, the king requires your presents in the throne room." the maid said while headed towards the door to exit. Sighing you just think 'Well I guess they don't need me... Maybe I'll just go back to sleep.' you were about to go back to sleep, but then you were getting shaken.

"Come on (Y/N). We have to go see the king." Naofumi started shaking you awake.

"Noooo, she didn't say that they needed me let me sleeep." you whined pulling the blanket over your head.

"If I have to go so do you. Now get up." He demanded, pulling the blanket completely off your body, chuckling at your childish behaviour.

"Naofumi! It's cold give me back the blanket." You jumped up at Naofumi attempting to grab the blanket from him, but being the shorter one of the two all he did was lift the blanket over your head laughing at your attempts at grabbing the blanket.

"Come on Naofumi! This isn't fair your way taller than me." you continued trying to get the blanket puffing out your cheeks pouting. Naofumi laughed more at the way you were acting, he was enjoying teasing you.

"As much fun as I'm having messing around with you. We really should start heading to the throne room." Naofumi laughter started to die down a little bit.

"Ugggh fine I guess now that I'm up I might as well go too." you said while pouting.

"Okay let's get going." He just patted your hair and smiled down at you.

Seeing Naofumi smile like that made your face heat up and turn away from him, and started heading for the door.

~Timeship to the throne room~

The doors to the throne room are opened for us and we are greeted by a line of adventurers at the foot of the throne by the king.

"We have gathered the greatest warriors in the land. These brave souls will fight the waves alongside you." The king was introducing the adventurers while all of you were walking into the centre of the room.

'I wonder how this works? I wonder if I'm going to be stuck into someone else's team or if I get my own? That would be awesome to have my own but I don't think that's happening.' you thought to yourself.

"Our future champions, it has come now for you to begin your journey." The king said, then all the people lined up in front of us started to walk towards the hero they wanted to help fight the waves. When everyone got settled with the hero they wanted you noticed that Naofumi didn't have anyone pick him.

"Three there, Five there, four there. Yo king?" Naofumi frantically asked the king.

"Yeah I'd also like to ask what the hell I'm supposed to do since I'm not even a "hero"?" you questioned the king.

"This was an unexpected turn. I thought at least one person would choose the shield hero's party." The king said to Naofumi, ignoring you. Being too pissed off for being ignored for the hundredth time since being transported here, you just drowned out what they were talking about.

'This bastard just really loves pissing me off doesn't he. Always fucking ignoring me even though THEY were the ones that summoned me to this fucking place in the first fucking place...'
