Chapter 4

A/N: Just a warning there is a decent amount of swearing in this sorry. 

In the morning you were woken up to hear a lot of commotion outside your room. At first you really didn't care what was going on in the hall, you just thought maybe it was just a family or something just passing by, you started to get comfortable in your mattress again. Before you could drift off to sleep again you heard someone in the hall start talking. This normally wouldn't faze you but then you heard that person saying something about the Shield hero.

'Huh? Noafumi?'  You were pulled from your thoughts, when suddenly there was a loud banging on your door.

"(Y/N) Dragneel! The king has summoned the shield hero and his team members." the person called out to you from the other side of it.

'Ugh what could that geezer possibly want with the whole team?' You just groaned and started to get up from the mattress. Quickly you reqiped into something more presentable for the public, and headed towards the door. Opening it you are now faced with a tall guard waiting there for you, and behind him is a group of guards taking Naofumi away. Before you could question what they were doing with him the tall guard in front of you is forcing you to turn around and pushing you to your knees cuffing you.

"What the fuck is going on right now!?" you yelled at the guard.

"Shut your mouth filth!" the Guard yelled back pulling you up roughly.

You just stayed quiet not finding any point and trying to get answers out of him, when he is clearly not willing to tell you a thing. He just ended up leading you to a carriage and started heading to the castle.

~Timeskip to Castle~

The carriage stopped in front of the castle, and the guards started to roughly make you stand up and head inside the castle. Once you were finally in the throne room you seen another group of guards surrounding Naofumi.

"Hey Naofumi? What's going on-" As you were asking you were harshly pushed to your knee.

"Hey don't hurt her! (Y/N) are you okay? Did they hurt you?" Naofumi yelled glaring at the guard, then turned to you with a look of concern.

"Yeah I'm fine. Nothing I couldn't handle." you smiled sweetly at him.

"What about you did they hurt you?" You asked him concerned.

"Good, I'm glad you're fine." Naofumi smiled back at you. But as quickly as he smile his face changed to a concerned one again. You were about to ask him what was wrong but then he started to speak to someone.

"Myne! Hey are you okay!?" Naofumi asked Myne. turning your attention to where he was yelling to, you saw Myne standing slightly behind Motoyasu shaking holding onto him like she was with Naofumi yesterday.

'What's going on? What's her problem?' you started thinking.

"Yo king while I was sleeping all the money and equipment that I had other than the shield were stolen from my room. Please sir find the thief an-" but Naofumi couldn't finish what he was saying.

"SILENCE YOU FILTH!" the king yelled, cutting Naofumi off.

" What is this about?" Naofumi asked under his breath.

"Myne, I'm sorry to ask this my dear but would you mind repeating your testimony for us again." the king sighed holding his head.

"It happened last night. The shield hero forced his way into my room, he was stinking drunk. He grabbed me and pinned me down." Myne was starting to say.
