"BABY, I'M HOME!" bryce walked through the front door to see an otherwise empty apartment. there were no signs that his girl had been there aside from an empty glass on his counter that hadn't been there before.

"addy? where are you?" he called, walking past the kitchen to the living room.

the blonde was sitting upright on the couch, staring past his gaze and towards the clock. the room was otherwise silent, besides the ominous ticking.

"uh, you okay?" bryce was clearly sketched out, and addison was clearly not in the mood for his games.

"we had one rule." addison finally spoke up, locking eyes with the boy. "not to end up humiliating each other."

"what's that supposed to mean?" he scoffed, looking at her as if she was crazy. "if anything, you almost broke that rule parading around your girl toy right under all of our noses, thinking i wouldn't catch on and i so graciously ignored it. this is how you repay me?"

"nothing has ever happened between nala and i. this goes way beyond rumours."

"yeah, but you wish there had been. i know you followed her after the party, and i know you're only telling me the half truth."

addison stood up, moving to stand directly in front of him. bryce knew there was no getting out of this situation. she knew already.

"i don't give a fuck, bryce! when i say i've been loyal to you once we started dating for real, i meant it. you can't say the same."

"i told you nala tried to kiss me and i didn't let her."

"and when i confronted her about it, i stupidly believed you over her. until i got sent a photo of you kissing someone, and she pointed out that there was no way it could be her."

bryce looked frantic. "addison, i swear it was only one time."

addison laughed, shaking her head. "and to think i almost trusted you more."

"baby, please listen-"

"i'm going home now, bryce. call me if you want to be mature about this and give me the real story that isn't a bunch of bullshit. we're through."
