Hyejin's POV
"Eomma, where's my lunchbox?" Taemin asked, waddling up to me.

"Here," I answered, placing the lunchbox filled up with his favourite food into his Spiderman bag and zipped it up.

I watched him struggling to put on his school bag, smiling at his independence. "Be a good boy for Appa, okay?" Taehyung squatted next to him and gave a peck on his cheeks, earning a small giggle from him.

"Eomma, Appa, we'll get going," Taeguk held Taemin's small hands after Taeho put on his shoes for him.

"Alright, get going you guys! See you soon!" I shouted, waving my hands at them as Taeguk started the car.

"Saranghae!" Taehyung screamed, blowing kisses at them as they waved back.

"Saranghae Eomma, Appa!" Taemin yelled back as the car soon rolled out of the garage and out of sight.

I sighed as I realised how much they have grown. I placed my head on Taehyung's shoulder. He planted a kiss on my forehead and stared at me. I raised my eyebrow with the 'what-are-you-up-to' look.

"Nothing, you just look beautiful as always," he muttered under his breath, knowing that I was wondering about what he was up to.

"Hm? What did you say?" I smirked, wanting to hear the sentence again.

"I said, you look ugly as always," he patted my head with his huge arms before walking back into the house, leaving me with my mouth open wide.

"Kim Taehyung, I swear-" I regained my composure and chased after him.

He stood by the corner planning to scare me the moment I made a turn into it. Being the dumb duck I always am, I fell for his trap. My face bumped into his wide chest. "Ouch-" I groaned, my voice muffled. "Kim! TAE! HYUNGG! HOW DARE Y-" I was about to scream my lungs off at him when he cut me off by placing his index finger on my lips. "Shhh, can you keep quiet? You're so noisy," He then placed a light kiss on my forehead. I blushed at his cuteness. Sweet.

"Okay, fine!" I surrendered, as the fire, which was previously in me, was put out immediately.

He began to smile.

"Hyejin, it's been long since we went out together alone. Let's have breakfast outside, hm?" he nudged my shoulder. I grinned and nodded in agreement as I watched him disappear into the room, happily dancing while getting himself ready to go out. This man is always acting like a kid. I can't believe he's almost 38. I thought as I shook my head watching his childish behaviour.

I munched onto my burger in hunger. At the corner of my eye, I noticed Taehyung staring at me, his food untouched. I looked at him with concern. What's with him being all cute and happy all of a sudden and now staring at me blankly?

He sighed. "Hyejin, there's something I have to tell you."

My heart skipped a beat. Okay, this is a serious matter. I gulped. "Yeah, what is it?"

"Don't be mad, okay?"

"Yes, now hurry up and tell me! Yah! You're scaring me!"

"I.. I've been thinking if I should join BTS," he cleared his throat, "full time from now on. Taeguk and Taeho are old enough to take care of themselves now, and they can help take care of Taemin too. I-I mean if you don't like the idea I won't-"

"I don't like the idea," I interrupted him.

He paused. He looked at me with a smile which looks painfully forced."Ah, I unders-"

"Just kidding! I love the idea!"

He blinked. "You're.. approving the idea?"

"Pabo, why won't I? It's your dream after all!" I held his hand and gave him a reassuring smile.

"Well... I always return home late a couple of years ago, we'd have arguments everyday and often misunderstood each other, so I was afraid to ask you for permission. Also, I was worried if you would be stressed at taking care of the kids," he explained while looking at his lap, just like a kid trying to confess his wrongdoing.

"You have my permission. I like that idea, Taehyung. I've learnt to support my husband in whatever he wants, not just being selfish. Don't underestimate me, okayyy?" I said, lowkey feeling hurt that he actually thought I was still as unreasonable as before.

After what we've been through after all these years, I finally understood. I've learnt that not everything had to be for me. I have to be there for him, for Taehyung, at times. I have to give and take, after all he had done for me. For our family, he deserves to pursue his happiness.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you!" he giggled happily, his boxy grin creeping up his face.
