Sending a kiss to the mirror, the blonde girl examined herself.

"Hair- check," she stated, twirling one of her perfect blonde hairs around her finger. She checked her make-up, smiling at it. "Make up- check." She looked down at her pajamas, then at the clock. "Being late for the first day- almost certainly."

"Zoe." Lydia Martin called, "I am not waiting. You have two minutes or I will leave without you!"

"Go, I'll be late!" Zoe called back to her sister, rolling her eyes.

"Whatever!" Lydia huffed back.

Lydia slammed the door to the house, and Zoe sighed irritably. She looked up. "Hey, you. Why must I have that bitch as a twin?" she paused for a moment, "no reply? Fine by me."

Zoe walked to her closet.

"How hard it is to be me," she stated dramatically, before giggling to herself. "Here I am, talking to myself again." She examined her closet that was overloaded, before sighing and closing it. "Nothing to wear."

She walked around the house, happily humming a random One Direction song as she took out her lunch from the fridge. "Salad!" she happily announced, taking out a fork and digging in.

After ten minutes of eating, she stood up to wash her plate with a outfit in mind. She walked straight to her room, wearing a shirt that was half white- half purplish- pink and a jeans.

If she had to say so for herself, Zoe thought as threw what she needed into a gray bag, she was the better looking twin. But she was the only one to think that, she frowned. Everyone admired the ground Miss Perfect, her sister, walked on.

And she? She was the cute one, the barbie, the one that was too caught in herself to even see anything.

So Zoe walked out, readying for the spotlight as she struts to class late. What Zoe didn't think of is the fact that she had to walk all the way to the school. She was about to make a U-turn and go back home, but a car horn woke her up from the day-dream. She almost expected Lydia to be there and give her the all too familiar know it all smile of hers.

But no.

She grinned widely at the boy. "Need a ride?"

"It depends on your intentions," Zoe giggled, pushing her hair out of her face.

Danny laughed lightly, "as much as I am enjoying this conversation, we are late to school and I don't want to start another year like that."

"You're such a nerd," Zoe stated, rolling her eyes good naturally as she entered the car. She closed the door and he started driving through the quiet streets of Beacon Hills. Zoe glanced at Danny. "So, how's being gay?"

"Nice. How's being straight?"

"Fine," Zoe shrugged. They glanced at each other and started laughing. Danny stopped the car because of hard they were laughing, and Zoe started crying, thanking God for waterproof make-up.

It took the two a while to calm down, and by then they even forgot why they laughed. After few moments of just sitting there, catching their breath. "I missed you," Zoe finally said.

"Yeah, it's nice hanging with you."

Zoe simply nodded as Danny started the engine again and drove to school. Zoe hummed happily to herself as Danny was busy driving. After few minutes, his pair of brown eyes met hers, "oh, Lacrosse try-outs today. Will you be there?" Zoe asked, expecting a yes.

"No, Family business. But Coach says he knows me well enough to let me play anyway."

"Cool."

"Yeah, I was expecting him to throw a fit and not let me play this year or something." Zoe chuckled lightly.
