I woke up in a white room.

"I was hoping it was just a bad dream" I groan as my sister Haley runs up to me.

"Thank god your ok" she whispers gently embracing me in a hug.

"Piper" I ask.

"Let me go get the doctor" my mom says as she walks out of the room leaving my dad asleep on the couch.

"How long was I out" I ask Haley.

"A few hours. You were shot in the shoulder, and when you fell you got a concussion the doctors think" She says to me.

"Is Piper ok though" I ask as she sits beside me on my hospital bed.

"They haven't told us much. I think she's still in surgery" Haley replies laying beside me placing her head on my good shoulder. "they are waiting for her next of Kin to show"

"How you feeling" the doctor asks when he walks in with my mom.

"I'm fine. How's Piper" I ask.

"Should be getting out of surgery within the next half hour. We can put her in the room next door so you can use the slider if you'd like" the doctor offers.

"I'd like that" I reply as he walks out to talk with the nurses.

"So this Piper girl. Is she your girlfriend" Haley asks wiggling her eyebrows.

"I wish" I say laughing before coughing a little.

"Looks like getting rid of my sisters crush is gonna be pretty hard" Kendall says trying to make light of the situation as he walks in the room with, Anthony, Avani, Josh, Nessa, Griffin, Quinton, and Emmy.

"Yeah just ask her out already dude" Josh mocks.

We all laugh.

"Kendall, Emmy, meet my sister Haley, My mom, and my dad" I say introducing them to one another.

"How's Piper" Emmy asks.

"Said she should be out of surgery within the next hour or so" My mom says as she goes and embraces Kendall who looks to be at the beginning of a panic attack. "Kendall you ok"

"She's she's all I really have left" he stutters.

"Wanna do get food together Down in the cafeteria I'm starving" Haley offers.

According to my mom she's already raided the cafeteria of all the purple jello.

"Sure" Kendall replies as they head out to the cafeteria downstairs.

"Thank you" I say looking at my mom.

"For what?" She asks me.

"For helping Kendall" I reply.

"Nessa, Avani, Josh and I are gonna go get food we should be back in a hour or so" Anthony says as they head out leaving Griffin, Quinton, Emmy and I as well as my parents in the room.

"So she's outta surgery and kinda out of it. We aren't sure if she'll be awake by tomorrow, it might be a few days cause she lost a lot of blood." The nurse says.
