I nod my head, shaking on the inside as I was so embarrassed and nervous on what she had to say back. "Yes, as in a lover."
She stayed quiet.
"Y-you don't have to say yes. You're not obligated too. I.. I'm just telling you in advance. It was eating up inside me so I just wanted to tell you." I explained myself in a shaky voice, and then stayed quiet.
A couple minutes later, she broke the awkward silence.
"Chae." She softly says.
I look at Y/n. "Yeah?"
"Why do you like me?" She asks.
"Because, you were the one who was there for me. While my so called 'best friend' just decided to straight up leave me as I came out to her a lesbian. Thinking she would support. But you, you were there for me. You are just the kindest person I have ever met, and I really, really appreciate you for that." I paused. "Not to mention, you're also really cute."
She blushes at that. "Really?"
"Really." I smiled at her.
"Chae, I also like you too." She paused. "I don't know if you know this, but you were my first friend. I had never gotten to experience what having a real friend was like. All of the other ones was were fake. They shut me out when my father died. I had never opened up to anyone as much as I had opened up to you. I really, really love you for that."
I smile at her, leaned over at her.
And I kissed her.
She kisses back.
I break the kiss and look at her.
"Will you, Lee Y/n. Be my girlfriend?" I smiled at her.
"Yes, I will. Park Chaeyoung."
