Chapter 4

**January 3rd - The day that the guys go back home**

Dawn was at work. Kailee was in the warm shower. The water running down her face. She closed her eyes, and felt peace. Her mind wandered away from reality. She opened her eyes, and she was wearing a floral dress. When she looked down she wasn't pregnant. She looked around to see she was in a field. A field of low rise flowers. In the distance she saw movement. Curious, she started walking toward it. As the figure become more human like she realized it was Mei. Kailee ran as fast as she could into Mei's arms. She felt warm, and safe. Something she hadn't felt in a long time. They were both crying hysterically. They stopped hugging, and Kailee held Mei's face in her hands.

"I'm doing it." She paused, "I'm finishing our dream." They both cried harder, and hugged again. Then Mei pulled away, and held Kailee's hands.

"I-" Mei started to say something, but she was abruptly pulled away. Kailee tried to hold her hand, but the force was too strong. Kailee left her hand stretched open hoping Mei would be on the other side again. Kailee dropped to her knees. Right when she dropped to her knees she opened her eyes to see she was in the shower again. Kaide was knocking on the door very loudly.

"Kailee, you ok in there?" He yelled through the door. She turned off the water, and stepped out.

"Yes I'm fine." She yelled back. She got dressed, went to her room, and shut the door behind her. She sat there thinking about what Mei could have said to her. She picked up her phone, and looked at their last messages on snapchat with Mei from before she passed.

4:15 pm - May 19, 2019

Ducc: Hey

Ducc: Hey

Ducc: Heyy

Kay: Whaat

Ducc: I miss you :<

Kay: You live 10 minutes away, just walk here.

Ducc: Are you serious?!

Ducc: I'm too lazy to walk all the way there.

Kay: And that's on major laziness.

Ducc: Yes. I'll drive to you then. I'm stopping at McDonald's first need anything?

Kay: Strawberry-Banana smoothie. I'll pay you back.

Ducc: Uh nO. It's my treat :) I'll see you in 20

Kay: Ok love you

Ducc: Love you more best frenn

Kailee looked up with tears in her eyes. She tossed the phone next to her on the bed, and cried. She put her knees up to her chest, and her hands covered her face. V heard her crying from outside the door. He went in, and shut the door behind him. He sat on the bed across from Kailee, and put his hand on her knee.

"What's wrong, Kay?" He asked worried.

"I-I saw Mei." She stuttered, "I miss her so m-much... She was s-saying something, but she was-" She started crying harder not finishing her sentence.

"She was what?" V asked pulling Kailee into his lap.

"She was pulled away from me." Kailee said. The 2 sat there until Kailee stopped crying. V got her to go to the kitchen, and sit at the island to tell everyone about what happened.

"Babe, it's ok. We're here for you." Jungkook said wiping a tear off of her face. Kailee took a deep breath.

"Well, I had a dream like thing where I was standing in a field with flowers. And I saw something moving, so I started to go up to it. I found out it was Mei, and she hugged me. It felt like she was actually there hugging me. She was about to say something, but she was pulled away from some unseen force." Kailee looked down at the table.
