"You are not Mina" Jimin sternly uttered.

It felt like I was dipped in a freezing water. However, when I saw alcoholic bottles on his table, somehow, I was relieved.

"Tch, I'm crazy. What am I saying?" he chuckled then he hit his head on the table. He was about to take another drink but I took the bottle away from him.

"You're still minor. Why are you drinking?" I threw the disgusting drink on the trash can.

"I'm 18, so you don't need to worry, baby" he grinned playfully. Even when he's drunk, he still can project this annoying smile.

"Go home now" I commanded.

"No"

I glared at him after hearing his response. He bowed down his head with despair written all over his face.

"I don't want to" he was bowing down but I can see his face explicitly as the light is illuminating brightly on his face, the tears falling from his eyes didn't escape my eyes as well. He heaved a sigh, "I just want to forget it all through this" he showed me an empty bottle of the alcoholic beverage, "but it's a mistake. I didn't forget about that something. Instead, it keeps on appearing on my mind making me want to drink more hoping that another shot will make me forget it."

"Look at me" I calmly commanded. He gradually faced me with a drowsy look plastered on his face making him look like a poor puppy left on the street.

Without any hesitation, I slapped his face, hard.

"Alcohol is never the solution, Mr. Park" He was completely dazed by that move as he held his reddish cheek. "Now, go home and study instead" I told him like a mother.

With no choice, his hand caressing his red cheek, he stood up and started walking drowsily. As we exited the convenience store, I followed him.

"Park Jimin!" I called. He turned and faced me, confused because I was running to his direction.

As I reached near him, I wrapped my arms around him and embraced him fully. Whispering on his ears, "If something's bothering you, don't drink anything, it won't solve your problem. It won't even calm you. You're just making things worse. Face your problem on your own and don't involve alcohol, it would never help you." He was stiffened and I was able to feel his heartbeat beating along with mine.

Before anything else, I detached myself from the hug and looked at him straight on the eye. "Now, go" I gave him an assuring smile. Still bewildered, he slowly made his way to his apartment.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MINARI!" Sana and Momo wearing party hats greeted. They threw confetti everywhere. Sana is carrying a cake while Momo is holding a party popper. I smiled knowing that they did so much effort. We are currently at a bench in the school campus.

They sang as Sana is moving the cake closer to me and Momo is clapping her hand. I blew the candle and thanked them for the surprise.

"Welcome to legality, Minari" by that, Momo scooped an icing on her hand then she wiped it on my face. They giggled.
