A/N ; So this chapter is probably going to realy suck. And it might be short bc I'm on mobile and I can't quite tell. :P

〰 Allison's P.O.V 〰

I woke up to the brilliant sunlight coming from my windows. I sighed. My eyes darted to the clock , quickly checking the time. 8:36 am. Ugh. Why do I always wake myself up this early lately , I usually sleep until 12. I look around for my phone for a few minutes later realizing it was under my pillow. 2 messages from Ryder.

Ryder : Hey Al Ryder : Happy Birthday, I love you cnt wait to see you later! (: | 7:01 am |

I quickly text my reply;

You : Hey Ry ! Thanks . Ily2 . And also can't wait ✅

I lock my phone and place it on my night stand. I lift myself off the bed and walk to the bathroom. I put on my daily makeup never letting myself over due it. Today I am finally 16 almost free to do whatever I want. I'm going on a special date with Ryder and out friends to the summer carnival. I change into a shear yellow top, light denim jeans and white sandals.

Once I'm satisfied with my look I run downstairs to make my breakfast. I reach the kitchen and see my mom making something...pancakes. "Morning Ma" i say happily giving her a kiss on the cheek.

"Alleyy! Oh honey happy birthday ! I can't believe your 16 . Oh god my baby is growing up ! Soon you'll be out of the house leaving me all alone with them!" She crys pointing at my siblings. I can't help but laugh. "Heyyyy ! You say that like it's a bad thing. " My brother Jonathan says offended. My mother ignores them with a laugh. "I'm joking ! But anyway I have so many plans for today ! We are ganna go shopping! To the carnival! Go out and eat some where nice..." i block out the rest of what she's saying. Does she realy think e were gana spend the day together. No. I have plans today. Sorry ma but you'll just have to wait. I cut off my mom , who I'm not even listening to anymore. "Mom I have plans" I walk past her to the fridge pouring myself a glass of orange juice. Her face looks relay dissapointed " But , I thought we were spending today together?" She says dissapointed. "Well sorry but you thought wrong . Ryder , Izzy and Lucy are going out to the carnival today." I said mabey a little bit ruder than I meant for it to sound. "Alley...look," her voice was low, "The Summer Sun Carnival is too wild for a teenager and her friends to be roaming around with out an adult. You can't go." She smirks at her point. "But mom ," i cry " It's my birthday NOT YOURS ! Plus Ryder and Cameron are adults they are 18 , remember? " i yell. My sibling have left the room by now , not wanting to get involved in the conversation , considering they could care less about what goes in my life. "No, just NO!" Her voice comes out harsh , tears start forming in my eyes. "I'm going and you can't stop me!" I spat, tuning up to my room not even hesitating to bring my pancake and OJ with me.

□ Later 3:00 pm □

I've been sitting in my room all day waiting for something intestine to do. I've been scrolling through Instagram , Facebook , Twitter , Tumblr, We Heart It and texting Ryder all day. Pretty much what my "sweet sixteen" has been consisting of. This is all because I yelled at my mom. Now I've been grounded all day. She said if we wanted to I could celebrate my birthday tommorow. She realy is doing all she can to keep me from going to the carnival.
