A Letter From Tomorrow

Today... I lost my virginity.

He's the one I trusted the most but he broke it. He took an advantage on me and my weakness. He broke his own promises that he'll be the one to take care of me.

I've just met him online... and eventually—I fell. He's so sweet and caring before. He said that he can be my knight in the midst of darkness... but he's a complete liar. He made me believe with those sweet lies—I wish I'd never heard.

This morning was a very special day for me—for it was our first monthsary. He then called me to meet up personally—and so we would able to see each other in reality. I became too excited—that's why I agreed—didn't even think twice.

I do fixed myself to look gorgeous on our first date. I even asked my mom to braid my hair (without her knowing that I'm going to meet up with a stranger)—so he'll be fascinated by my beauty. I hummed while heading towards his apartment to lessen the nervousness I feel. But it changed into happiness after I saw him—looking at me happily.

I hugged him as tight as I could. I thought I'd finally found the man who'll fulfill the emptiness within me. But I'm wrong. I was surprised after he kissed me. At first, I responded to his kisses but not until he started to roam his hands on me and undress me.

I was in shocked after he lifted me and carried towards the bed. I tried to push him away but he's stronger than me. I tried to shout for help—but I'm voiceless. I can't do nothing but to cry. His eyes were filled of lust. His fiery kisses sent shivers to my spine—I felt nauseated.

I can't still believe that I ain't pure now. How can I tell this to my parents? What if I got pregnant? How about my future? How about my promises to my family?

If I ain't stupid, it wouldn't happen. If I can just bring back the time—I wouldn't let it to happen again. I regret everything. I regret loving him.

If I just can...

She was puzzled upon reading this in a piece of crumpled paper under her bed. Like, who wrote this letter? And why is it here?

She just ignore the letter and put it on the trashbin—maybe it's from her classmate who slept there last night.

'I pity her for being stupid and gullible at the same time. Psh.'

She just continued cleaning her room when her phone's rung. She immediately answered the phone call, for it's her boyfriend—Neil. Whom she met online.

“Hello babe! Happy monthsary!” she greeted him. She can't even stop herself from smiling. She's blushing af.

“Happy monthsarry too, babe. Can I have a favor please?”

“Sure, babe. What it is?” She asked him. She heard him chuckled on the other line. She pouted even tho he can't see her. His voice is her weakness. That's where she fell in love with him.

“I want to see you, babe. Let's meet up,” he said. She smiled from ear to ear and agreed. She tried to calm herself but her heart beats rapidly.

“Sure babe!” she said with a hint of excitement in her voice. She's really excited to see him!

“8:30 am at my apartment. We're settled then. I'll text you the address. See you later, babe” he said then hanged up the phone.

She hurriedly took her purse inside the cabinet but she was shocked upon seeing the crumpled paper inside it.

"I thought I already put it in a trash bin? And why the hell it is here again?' she hissed.

She's going to put it in a trash bin again when she accidentally read the back portion of the letter...

“A letter from tomorrow...” she said out loud.

“Psh. Nevermind this one, the important thing is... I should be the most beautiful girl he'll met in the rest of his life.” She giggled as she tear the paper into pieces.

She look infront of the mirror and smile.

And after that day...

she lost her virginity.
