Jughead was in the Blue & the Gold's office, sitting on the chair, while writing the first few parts of his so called novel. A knock on the door took his attention from the laptop. He looked up and saw Betty with a big smile on her face. Jughead welcomed her in and the ponytail smiled even more.

"Hello, Betts. What can I do for you?" the raiven-haired boy said with a happiness in his voice. You see, Betty is his friend since forever. As well as Archie and Veronica are. The core four is literally inseparable.

"I want to try an experiment. About hypnotizing other people and I thought that you could make the honour to be the first one," Betty chuckled and Jughead took a few minutes to think about it.

"Okay, sure, for as long as I don't get hurt by your little experiment," Jughead laughed and drank some water before sitting back on the chair.

"Thank you, Juggieeee! Now, you'll have to do whatever I say, so listen carefully, please."

Jughead nodded, as he focused on Betty. The blond girl clicked the small balls together and started talking, sure of herself about what she was doing.

"Juggie, you are going to fall in love with the first girl you'll see after I clap my hands. You will also admit if you ever had a crush on her. Your feelings are going to be really strong. There's not gonna be any other woman for you in your whole life. Your heart will be given to her fully. Okay, Jughead?"

Jughead, who was already hypnotized by the sound of Betty's soft voice and the clicks of the balls, nodded.

"You will wake up in 3...2...1," Betty clapped her hands, but the         raiven-haired boy didn't wake up.

"Juggie? Jug? Jughead? Juggie! Juggie, wake up!"

Betty clapped her hands a lot of times. Jughead never woke up, though. She got up and looked at him. His eyes were closed. Her heartbeats got faster as she started getting worried.

'What if I killed him?'

'What did I do?'

'What if Jughead never wakes up again?'

Thoughts like those were travelling through her mind, as she started tearing up. Archie, who was still at school, having practise, got a text from Betty, saying to come at the Blue & the Gold as soon as possible. The red-haired jock quitted the practise and ran there to find a sleeping Jughead and a crying Betty next to him.

"Betty, what happened? Is Jughead alright? What did you do?"

"I-I wanted to hypnotize him for an experiment and he agreed to do that, but now...he doesn't wake up, Archie. Help me, please!"

"Oh, my God, no! Don't you think we should call Veronica, too? She knows him better than we both do."

"Leave Veronica alone. That includes me and only me. I just need you to help me get him at the hospital."

"Okay, I just gave you a suggestion, don't act like a bitch," Archie said and Betty rolled her eyes. The two teenagers held Jughead's body and put him in Archie's car. They drove as fast as possible to the hospital. When they arrived there, Archie instantly called Veronica. Betty tried to stop him, but he didn't care.

"Hey, Ronnie, me and Betty are in the hospital. You need to come ASAP!"

"Oh, my God, what happened?"

"It's Jughead."

"Don't say anything else, Archie. I'm on my way!"

Archie put the phone back in his pocket and looked at Betty, who seemed to be pissed at him.

"Why did you call her?"

"What do you mean, why did I call her? We need her help, Betts. Jughead needs her help. What if something happens. We don't know, Betty."

"Fine, fine, I get it..."

After a while, a rushing Veronica found Archie and Betty waiting at the corridor with glossy eyes. Her eyes filled up with tears as well.

"Guys! I'm here! Is Jughead okay?" she yelled as both Betty and Archie turned their heads at her, giving her a quick hug before nodding. Soon, the doctor came out of Jughead's room and said that he was waking up. Veronica pushed Betty off of her way and walked in the room to see Jughead waking up. As his eyes opened, he saw her wiping her tears away. The raiven-haired girl noticed the fact that he was awake and hugged him immediately.

"You're up! You got us all so worried, Jug. We thought we would never see you again. I couldn't imagine my life without you, you little weirdo. Thank God you're okay again."

Jughead slowly wrapped his arms around her and looked in her eyes with confusion.

"Why am I here?"

Before Veronica could answer, Betty and Archie rushed in the room. Their worried expressions turned into happy ones.

"I'm so sorry, Juggie. I should've never done something like that to you. Please forgive me," Betty said as a tear rolled down her cheek, taking Jughead's hand in hers.

"Betty...What happened? Why am I here?"

"I hypnotized you. When I clapped my hands to wake you up, you didn't. I thought I killed you. I'm so sorry."

"I forgive you, I guess. You didn't mean to do something like that anyway, right?"

Betty nodded as she smiled.

Veronica, who was standing at the other way of the bed, took Jughead's other hand and caressed it softly with her thumb. Jughead looked at it. Something inside him had changed. A few seconds later, he removed his hand from Betty's and placed it on Veronica's stroking it. Betty, who noticed that, raised an eyebrow and her mind filled up with confusion. Archie, who was being dumb as fuck, didn't even try to cross his mind with the thought of why Jughead did that.

Soon, Betty remembered everything and grabbed Archie's arm, but then left it quickly and excused herself. She went in the restroom and looked herself in the mirror.

"Did Jughead saw Veronica first? No, he can't fall for her, I won't let that happen," she whispered. Betty went back in his room and smiled weakly.

"Are you okay, Jug?"

"Yes, I believe I am, Betty. But you didn't tell me why did you hypnotize me. What was the reason of it?"

"Just a small experiment," she lied and noticed Veronica smiling at him and Jughead not taking his eyes off of hers. She sighed a bit. 'It's just current, it's just something current," she thought.
