I run as fast as I could back in the direction of the crater. If I am lucky, Lockdown hasn't spotted me yet. The rocks would be my cover in case they were to look in my direction, which I hope they haven't yet. I am almost back to the crash site, then I heard it. A plasma blast hit the ground not 20 feet in front of me, it forced me to slow down immensely and go around. The shots were coming from my left, I turned my head to see the guards and hounds charging in my direction. Dear Pala, with how fast they're moving I won't stand a chance of out running them.

The next thing I knew, something wrapped around my legs and I fell to the ground, unable to walk or run. I look down at my legs to see a type of snare tying them together, it was made of metallic wires and weights. I simply scoffed and spat my acid at the snare, it began to sizzle and dissolve enough to where I could free my legs. It would seem that the bounty hunter hasn't learned from the cage being melted, which in this case is rather fortunate. I pulled my legs free and went to start running again but 4 of the guards would get in my way, pointing their massive guns at me. Turning around, more of the guards and hounds blocked the ways of escape. I'm surrounded. With a snarl I took out my shotgun and smart disc, ready for a fight.

A familiar dark chuckle came from my right, I turned my head and looked in the direction of the sound. Sure enough, Lockdown himself was headed straight for me.

"Took you long enough." I said.

"I admire your intelligence, serpent. But if you were that smart, you wouldn't be surrounded."

"You know What? Why me? What did I do to get your attention?" I growled.

The bounty hunter kneeled down to look me in the eye.

"I know what you are. A hybrid like you shouldn't even EXIST."

"Right, that's what EVERY girl wants to hear." I replied sarcastically.

One if the guards grabbed me from behind roughly and lifted, I roared loudly and squirmed violently. He was dangerously close to being spat on. Just then I felt a surge of anger in my heart that wasn't my own, if it isn't mine then...Oh, this is going to be good.

"I wouldn't handle me so roughly if I were you." I warned.

"And why is that?" He asks in a snarky tone.

I smirked, "Remember when I said I dated someone scarier than you? Well..."

A loud angry roar bellowed from the top of the crater, one that I know all too well. The guards and Lockdown looked up at the crater hill to see a very pissed off Zexal charging down the slope, and he was coming at full speed. The other guards would aim their guns at Zex and fire upon him, but the King would be vigilant and avoid the shots. The ones that DID hit him hardly even phased him, his metal parts seemingly protecting him. Zexal roared and slammed into the guard holding me, he let go and I hit the ground with a thud. My King proceeded to tear the guard to shreds as he screamed in agony. Once he was done ripping one of the men apart, Zexal came and picked me up into a hug.

"My Queen, are you alright?"

"Yes, thank you my King." I purred.

Zexal turned to Lockdown, his teeth bared as he hissed furiously. The bounty hunter was baffled by the sight of my mate, which put a smile on my face.

"Is this the one who took you, my love?" My King chittered.

"It is, yes."

Zexal growled furiously at Lockdown, drool dripping from his mouth. That only happened whenever Zexal was LIVID, and he has every reason to be right now.
