The Purple Praetorian

Part 58.

Zexal and I entered our newly home, my 3 youngest children came running in from behind giggling and squealing loudly. We entered what appeared to be a grand hallway with doors on either side, the ceilings were at least 40 feet upwards for my king and I to walk around without hitting our heads. Although at the moment it's very bland with silver walls and no decorations, that will certainly change sooner rather than later. Perhaps some tapestries and metal working would do the place some good.

"Whoa...is this our home, mommy?" Coiler asks.

I nod, "Yes it is. Now go look around, just try not to scratch anything up and be careful."

Xavier, Coiler and Patches all ran off with each other down the grand hallway. Zexal and I chuckled as Nova and Takara ran after them, eager to explore the large home. My King and I have some exploring of our own to do, I held the now small bag holding the storage cubes of both my trophies and of the energon crates.

"Care to look around, Zex?"

"Of course, my dear."

"Which way do you want to go?"

"Hm, perhaps upstairs."

The grand hallway had a set of spiral stairs on either side when we first entered, ones that would surely hold our weight. I gesture him to go first, but he instead takes my hand and leads me upstairs himself. Once we make it to the top we entered another large bland hallway with only 2 doors on either side, but this was only the second floor, there were 2 more floors left to go.

Zexal and I head to the very first door on the right, he pushed a button and opened the door to see that it was one of the regular bedrooms. The door to the shared washroom between the rooms was much too small for him and I to fit through, so this will certainly be for 2 or 3 of the kids. All it needs now is actual decorations, beds, and maybe some toys for the younglings. We were satisfied with what we saw and closed the door, moving onto the next door on the right. It revealed to be exactly the same as the other bedroom, so it wasn't much of a surprise.

"Found the children's rooms." He chittered.

"Want to go in here next?" I gesture to the other doors on the left side of the corridor.

He nods. I do the honors of pushing the button that opens the door to reveal one large room, both doors opened into it. Zexal seemed rather confused as we entered the room.

"Dear, what is this room?" He asks.

I smile and push another button on the wall, the space went dark and was soon illuminated by dozens of small holographic planets. My King was mesmerized by the sight of the many holographic planets and solar systems.

"It's a planetarium for the kids, I figured it would be both more educational and safer until they're grown up."

I push the button again, the room lighting up again and the holograms disappeared. Zexal smiled and exited the room, seeing a large door at the end of the corridor. As I created this place with a little help from a design, I know exactly what it is. But Zexal does not. He curiously approached the door, it opened to reveal a spacious elevator like the one in Iacon. I entered it while he just stood there.

"Going up?" I tease.

Zexal smirked and entered the elevator, I pushed the button to the 4th floor. That's where everything for him and I are.

"Love, how did you create all of this without prior knowledge of the technology?" He asks.

"That...is an excellent question. I don't know, perhaps it is the knowledge of Primus that assists me." I replied.

"Either way, it is very impressive."

The doors to the elevator open to reveal yet another bland silver corridor, but this one wasn't as long as the others. A large and fancy door lay at the other end of the hall, the other doors upon this level also appeared more fancy in appearance. Zexal approached one of said fancier doors closest to the elevator, this one opened automatically into the master bedroom.

The master bedroom already withheld a massive bed that slid in and out of the wall for easy storage, it was only missing a mattress, a window on one wall leading out to a large balcony with a wonderful view of the West side of the city and mountains in the distance, and even a large tub of hot water which is called either a "Jacuzzi" or "Hot Tub". The door to the master washroom was to the right, I entered into it first and gestured around at its features.

A large metal bathtub, a shower much like the one on my old ship, 2 sinks meaning one for the each of us and a large mirror overtop the sinks.

"Goodness Dear, you truly outdid yourself."

"Hey, I either 'Go big or go home'. And that I did. Now come one, there's one last thing I want to show you on this floor. I'll take you to the big and fancy door at the end, I think you'll like it."

I took Zexal by the hand, lead him out of the master bedroom and down the corridor. As we approached the door, the door automatically opened and we stepped onto a raised floor.

The entire room was shaped like a tall dome, a tealish colored light illuminated the space from above. Several hooks penetrated from the wall behind 2 massive thrones facing to the north, and they faced the second doorway that lead into this room.

"This is the throne room, what do you think?"

Zexal looked around in pure amazement.

"It's perfect, my darling. What are the hooks for?"

"These."

I took out the storage cube I had been told held my trophy skulls. I use the very tip of a claw on my right hand and ever so gently push the unlock button. My trophy skulls were ejected from the storage cube and they were gently placed on the floor, including the skeleton of Big Zuna. My other trophies were puny in comparison the shark skeleton, and us for that matter. But it didn't matter for me, each of the skulls had a special meaning.

"Zexal, care to help me hang these up?"

"Of course, my dear."

We each picked up one of the smaller skulls and began to hang them gently on hooks to the right of the thrones, mainly starting with the ones I earned as a drone, which weren't much. When those were properly hung, we moved onto the skulls I had gained as a Praetorian and hung them behind the thrones, and there were plenty of those. And when those were hung, I went and hung up the skeleton of Big Zuna close to the hallway entrance on the left which was held together by cartilage. Once everything was hung up properly, we took a step back.

"It looks wonderful, love." Zexal purrs.

"Thank you honey, but damn. I need to get more big trophies like that shark, those Decepticon sparks would've done quite nicely. Should I mark the stages I got them in?"

"That's up to you, dear."

"Hmm, yeah I think I'm going to do that. But maybe later, right now we should go and put these energon cubes away in the kitchen."

"Very well then, let's go."
