Stars blinked overhead as Lynxpaw, Robinwing, and Nightfrost trekked along the HeathClan border. A fog hung over the moor, dew clinging to their pelts and exhaustion tugging at their eyelids. The three of them felt restless no matter how much sleep they had the oppurtunity to gain within the confines of HeathClan, and Lynxpaw believed it was because of the stress attached to them like irritating burrs to their pelts. Dead grass crunched under their paws though as they continued on, Nightfrost taking the lead as Robinwing stuck to Lynxpaw's side.

The medicine cat apprentice constantly glanced over the border into the depths of RidgeClan territory. Peering through the trees, Lynxpaw's ears dropped at the sight of RidgeClan's mountains. Her old home. The urge to step over the border and bolt home was overwhelming, but she knew that returning to the void she once called home would be nothing but a death wish. Sorrow stabbed at her heart like a mantis conquering its prey and she tore her eyes away from the sight of RidgeClan.

Silence hung over the group like cold, leafbare air. Lynxpaw managed to catch a glimpse or two of Robinwing parting his jaws as if he was attempting to speak, but he would only sigh and glance up at the night sky. As calm as Lynxpaw finally felt since her conversation with Hawkpaw and Fawnleap, she still found her chest tightening in anxiety as they journeyed to the Moon Realm.

The molly had no clue of what awaited her there. Would Galeflower return only to grant her empty warnings? Would a new Star Realmer approach her and finally answer all her questions? Would a new prophecy be obtained? Every though buzzed about in her brain as if it was an obstructed nest of wasps and she found herself growing agitated with the Star Realm. They had to provide answers. It was their job to watch over the Clans, not hers.

"Alright." Lynxpaw's ears shot forward when Nightfrost finally broke the suffocating silence between them. Her mentor paused and stared into RidgeClan territory. Lynxpaw noticed how long he stared before he spoke again, as if he was longing for something. Longing for his old home. "We can cross the border now and it will be a straight shot to the Moon Realm."

"Should we mask our scents?" Robinwing suggested, his muzzle twitching.

"RidgeClan patrols don't normally venture this far into our territory since it's so close to the Moon Realm," Nightfrost replied with his gaze still lingering to the shadows across the border. "I'd be shocked if they ever did but usually that's only before a Moon Realm trip for the medicine cats. Our scents will be gone by then plus... they don't have any medicine cats as of right now."

Lynxpaw winced at Nightfrost's final statement. With her and Nightfrost having had retreated RidgeClan's ranks, the Clan no longer had a trained medicine cat. Would Cottonstar randomly select a cat to take over for them? No other cat had knowledge of herbs aside from Ashtail due to his moons of healing from a broken leg, but the tom could only merely point out a few herbs and their uses. A prick of guilt burrowed itself into Lynxpaw's heart feeling as if she left her other clanmates behind vulnerable.
