I am so happy today.
My boss gave me off today as he going out shopping with his family and seniors too were busy in quarterly Auditing at client's place. So no one is there to guide me, he granted me a holiday.
Its 9 am Even though I woke up long before, I don't wanna move from my bed. I was hugging it. Suddenly sunlight from balcony hit my face. I covered my eyes.I slightly opened my left eye to see who unveiled the curtains. Its my mom.
"Maa, I am on leave, let me sleep for a while"
"No kia,Get up. Its a bad habit to keep lying on the bed after sunrise"
I slowly got up indifferently.
"Go brush and come downstairs" mom patted my shoulder.
After getting ready I went down, joined breakfast.
"Radha di, Sandwich is awesome" I praised her
"Is it? Take another" she served me one and poured juice in my glass.
We all noticed Grandpa coming downstairs.
I abandoned my sandwich and rushed to help him. But he said
"Hare.. I don't need any support see I am good enough to walk by my own"
"Very good my superman grandpa" I wondered on seeing his sudden optimistic nature.
He and Dad joined breakfast. Dad surveyed my plate and said "Kia, what those capsicums did to you? We eat them too"
I pouted disapproving. But He himself placed them in sandwich and fed it to me.This act touched my heart. For a second my eyes went moist and ate it fully.
"So I heard that you are working hard" he enquired
"Did you? Yeah pa, I working hard" I beamed.
"Keep learning more and make us proud"Mom joined.
"Sure Sure I'll definitely" I was soo happy by their gesture.
"Mr.Samar told you?" I asked papa
"Haan he too" he added
"Too means?"
"Grandpa's Doctor Beta said" Radha di said.
"Shaheer?" I shocked
"Haan kia, Shaheer said you are working all day sincerely, not distracting and learning well" mom finished.
"Did he really said like that? I can't believe" I wondered
"Jii he only told. See How good the boy is. He helps your grandpa to cure and keeps an eye on you at office. I don't know why you always oppose him" she pointed my fault.
"Okkk enough ma stop giving him 24carat Tag" i ended the topic.
But I impressed by him. He helped me to feel better in coffee shop and he eve said good things about me to parents. Now they literally started trusting me and my career. And he helping my grandpa to cure.. he is just... Psycho. I chuckled unaware of everyone presence.
From when did I started liking him??
"Kia beti, someone calling you" Radha di gave me telephone.
Who calls me in landline? I thought.
"Hello.."
"Hello kiara, I'm Samar speaking" my boss replied
"Morning sir"
My family where exchanging glances at each other trying to figure out who it is and finally guessed it.
"Gm. Btw why didn't you pick the call?"
I remembered my phone is still in my room, charging.
"I haven't saw..why? What happened sir"
his tone made me worry.
